HERE IT IS ALL FINISHED!!! AHHHH!!!!!
THE FAMBILY...💖
I've been planning this illustration for over a month now - in April, I had the patreon folks vote on a theme for a big gravity falls print, and camping was the winner. Even just planning the general composition took a while, figuring out where I wanted all the characters to be. Once I shored up a good thumbnail, I made it tighter twice before putting it on paper, and working in pencil. The pencil drawing part took me four sit down sessions of drawing, and then coloring the scan took another couple of days. I worked SO DANG HARD to finish this monster before mc3, and by some miracle, I did.
Overall, I'm really happy with how this illustration turned out! I feel like it does a good job of expressing my love for the show. I'm really glad people were enthusiastic about it at the convention - I had a lot stop and look at it with these really awestruck, sad wet goo goo eyes expressions LOL! They did this: 🥺 with an actual human face dskjhlsdfkjh!!
Here's a link to my bigcartel store, where you can get one! Also, info to keep in mind: members of my $5 patreon tier get 15% discount on their orders when they use a special code.
Also, side note: thank you to my expert names and wordplay consultant for giving me the name "nitelite moth." YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE :)
Under the cut: Uncolored pencil version, and sketches.

Pretty self-explanatory
being black in any art community is such a strange feeling cause you’ll see just blatant racism being expressed in others art and you have to just casually ignore it, for your sake if anything, colorism being something that’s just fundamentally there in every artist and you deal with it cause it’s not worth it in the end to even think of it too hard let alone even mentioning it, it’s definitely something
Hello nonblack reader of this post, I think you ought to share this one so that you and your peers can actively remind yourselves 1) of how your Black peers feel when you tolerate antiblack racism in your art spaces for entertainment and 2) that we notice it, but don't believe it is secure around enough of you to bring it up 🙏🏾
Chris Smalls is finally released.
After 4 days of detention and torture by the occupation, he emerged raising the flag and victorious over the Israeli jailer.
Chris Smalls has been an activist supporting the Palestinian cause for a long time. He and his friends set off on the Handala Flotilla, trying to break the blockade after the Madeleine ship failed to do so, following the arrest of its crew members. Today, the same thing happened. The Handala Flotilla failed to break the blockade on Gaza, but it was a great effort and a great position from them to support our cause and try to bring food to us. Unfortunately, they were prevented again and arrested. Chris was captured while trying to bring food to us. If you can provide us with a meal, please donate to us now from here. Hunger is killing us.
Hey friends, many have shared my post, thank you all, but we want you to help us and donate to us. When we say we are hungry, I am not exaggerating. I really am not exaggerating. (I do not eat meat, I do not eat fish, I do not drink juices or other drinks, and there is no type of chocolate or biscuit. There is nothing good. All that is available is flour and some vegetables, and their price is crazy.) So, my friend, please donate to me so that I can eat some food, please.

Okay but actually like... Yeah.
I think a lot of abled people, people who aren't chronically ill or disabled. Have this idea that if they get sick, doctors will do EVERYTHING to make them better. After all, it's what they see on TV, isn't it? Doctors working to solve the mystery and save the patient. So of COURSE if they ever got sick, the doctors would fix it...
Which means that when someone is chronically ill and disabled and they don't get magically fixed... It must be their fault. I mean, doctors do everything they can, right? Doctors fix people, right? So if you get sick and stay sick, it must be YOUR fault, right?
I've noticed people get... REAL fucking mad when I say doctors are shit. When I say doctors being shitty and dismissing patients and not helping people is the rule, not the exception. I've encountered countless people who tell me that I'm wrong, that doctors are saints and angels who help the sick, and maybe if I wasn't so fat/disgusting/uncooperative/broken/dramatic that maybe I would be BETTER.
When really? The problem is that I can count the number of doctors I have had who listened to me and did more than look at my size and tell me that being fat is the problem on one hand, and those are ALL doctors I still see to this day. That out of the DOZENS of doctors I have seen in my lifetime, there are THREE who I still have who listen to me and care about me. Who did their damn JOB when I came in presenting with symptoms and decided to look for an actual cause instead of assuming it was because I am fat, or because I was an "attention seeker" or a "spoiled teenager" or just a "woman".
Healthy people who don't have these experiences with doctors will not learn this until it's too late. And then they not only have to deal with doctors telling them that there is nothing wrong with them...
They'll have to deal with people saying the exact same shit they always said to chronically ill and disabled people.
#same about cops a lot of the time#and about rape#like i remember being young and thinking people would do anything to help someone who had been abused#and then i went through it and was like#oh shit no one cares - @pog-mo-bhlog
these tags are so important! so much structural oppression is upheld because it is reassuring to believe that they will help you if/when you experience a life-changing trauma or are otherwise genuinely struggling to survive.
and I think people often get very confused when people who they believe are "most helped" by these institutions hate/distrust them the most. (why would people who have experienced abuse, or rape, or community violence hate/distrust cops and social workers? why would disabled/fat/ trans people hate/distrust doctors and nurses? why would people who are suicidal or classed as mentally ill hate psychiatrists and crisis lines? why would workers who've been sexually harassed or dealt with constant racism hate HR? why would Black people hate DEI positions/initiatives at PWIs? why would the most vulnerable, marginalized, and targeted populations hate/distrust electoral politics and demands to campaign and vote? etc.)
& instead of like genuinely listening to the realities of how interacting with these institutional structures are actually experienced, by real people, they instead want to keep believing there is some benevolent force in place that exists to help people and fix problems, and therefore need to believe that people who distrust them are just "ungrateful" or "self-victimizing" or "overly dramatic" or whatever trivializing/condescending/paternalistic language is readily available to reach for.
Talking to family or friends about medical trauma from doctors, if no one else has medical issues like you do, is so fucking demoralizing cause you bare your fucking soul about your pain and the trauma and stress it causes you; and they'll suggest that the outcome is YOUR fault somehow because doctors fix everything! That's just how it works!
I had reconstructive ankle surgery two years ago and long story short it was the wrong procedure (I've seen two different doc's since that surgery and both just stared at my x-ray for a solid minute before just going "Huh. I wonder why he did that?") I need a cane to get around public spaces and get severe pain. But everyone acts like it's my fault somehow, or since "I'm so young" I don't actually need a cane and can just get better if I Try Hard Enough.
I can't. Literally can not. The bones in my ankle are fused I have almost 0 range of motion, I can't go on hikes, I can't ride a bike, it's been two years and I still have no feeling in the left side of my foot.
The only thing doctors recommend is ANOTHER surgery that will give me even less range of motion and the possibility of more chronic pain. That surgery I had to specifically call and cancel because they tried to set it up before I even left the office the first time.
They don't want to help people with chronic issues because we shatter the illusion that doctors 'can fix everything'.
New pinned post, I am going to be offline more nowadays for the sake of my physical and mental health. if you have any scam inquiries, you can check my scam list and/or direct your concerns to @kyra45 ! Remember that most Palestinian fundraisers are genuine, remember to double check to see if the user is vetted or not, and if you are truly unsure, simply do not interact.
Below are some Palestinian fundraisers that are vetted & verified, and that I have adopted and have been helping out. Be sure to share their donation posts and donate, if you can!
If any one of them should request your help, I ask that you fulfill that request to the best of your ability, these people are my friends and I care about them.
Ghada Nabil: vetting (#6) / Gofundme (very low on funds)
Ibrahim Yaser: vetting (#25) / Gofundme / gofundme2 (gfm cut off his first one last minute despite getting to 100%)
Safaa Jad Al-Haq vetting by 90-ghost / Chuffed NEW CHUFFED / paypal. (Both Gofundme AND Chuffed had wrongfully removed or halted funds transfer from Safaa's fundraiser and now she had to make a new campaign for a THIRD time. The paypal linked is someone helping Safaa with her fundraiser and all funds go directly to Safaa. Low on funds.)
Hani Yaser: vetting (#5) / Gofundme / (low on funds)
Mahmoud Baalousha: vetting by 90-ghost / gofundme
Nader Al-Anqar: vetting (#4) / gofundme / New GFM (gfm has also made it so that Nader cannot access his funds on the old gfm.)
Hana Jad Al-Haq: vetting by 90-ghost / gofundme / Chuffed (once again, Gofundme halted her funds transfers so she had to start over on chuffed)
Ola Ahel: vetting (#205) / gofundme
Falestine Yousef: vetting by 90-ghost / Chuffed
Eyad Al-Anqar: vetting (#24) / GFM (Eyad runs a charity that gives out aid to Palestinians!)
Jamal Al-Dahdouh: vetting (#647) / GFM (extremely low on funds, slow in receiving donations)
Abdulrahman Al-Anqar: vetting (#652) / GFM
Zina Al-Anqar: vetting (#213) / GFM
Musab Ahmad: vetting (#520) / GFM (very low on donations)
Mohammed Al-Anqar: vetting (entry 174, row 178) / GFM
Amina Yaser: vetting (#19) / GFM
Fidaa: vetting by 90-ghost / chuffed / New Chuffed (Fidaa's old Chuffed was hacked & had to be shut down, & now they have to start all over. Low on donations.)
Kholood Smeer: vetting (#337) / Chuffed (VERY low on funds)
Siraj Abudayeh: vetting (#219) / Chuffed (Siraj is a former journalist and has had to recreate and start his fundraisers from scratch FOUR times now because of unfair, forced deletion.)

every time i see another post about adult content getting further limited online and see people acting surprised that it’s extending to their special brand of adult interest i just cannot help thinking about how many times we - sex workers - told people this exact thing would happen and just how few people stuck up for us while their peers acted as if listening to us was LAUGHABLE and we were SO SILLY for wanting to be taken seriously.
some of you are real assholes and it isn’t just the people who were outwardly cruel.
My name is Aya, I'm 29 years old. I'm married to Jihad, who is 32, and we have three beautiful children: Abdelrahman (7 years old), Jori (5 years old), and Adam (2 years old). We live in the northern part of Gaza.

Abdelrahman, Adam, and Jori are the heartbeat of my heart and the light of my life.
Abdelrahman: the lion of the house, the helpful and loving boy to his siblings and family.
Jori: my beloved girl, the one closest to my heart, and my little mini-me.
Adam: my little hero and my spoiled child.
Since the onset of the latest war in Gaza, our home has been completely destroyed, forcing us into displacement. We’ve had to move more than thirteen times in search of safety. During this harrowing journey, we faced severe hunger and malnutrition that nearly took my life and the lives of my children. Additionally, we were exposed to numerous contagious diseases and dangerous epidemics.
Before: This is our home, our dream, and our promising future.
My children have to travel long distances just to get water and stand in line for hours to get food. Their mental health has been shattered by the war, their education has come to a halt, and they have suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.
After: This is our home, built with our sweat and effort, and it has been completely destroyed.
The Right to a Peaceful Life
My children deserve to live a peaceful life free from fear and anxiety. I dream of your help to support my family and escape this genocide. Your assistance means the world to me and my children.
Your donations can be a beacon of hope for us. Every dollar can help save my children's lives and give them a chance to live in peace. Your prayers for us to overcome this ordeal and lift the siege are greatly needed.

I am Aya from northern Gaza, a mother of three children. My house has been bombed since the beginning of the war, and I have been displaced to more than 18 places in light of fear, hunger, and cold. I will talk about a topic that no one has mentioned before, the topic of the exorbitant prices of goods in the Gaza Strip, a topic that no one has talked about before.
Unfortunately, our first major enemy in this war is the Israeli occupation, which prevents goods and aid from reaching us. But what is even more unfortunate is that our second enemy is the merchants who constantly manipulate the prices of goods. When there is talk of negotiations, all prices drop, but when there is a stumbling block in the negotiations, everything rises like crazy.
Today in the morning there were negotiations going on and the price of flour was 30 euros which is very expensive but a little while ago when the Israeli extremist Ben Gvir said that there will be no ceasefire and that aid will be prevented from reaching us the price of flour per kilo rose to 45 euros and it is still rising until now please guys don't forget us please donate to us so that we can buy this flour and other food items to stay alive we need money to buy everything everything here is very expensive please donate to us now
In light of this humanitarian crisis that Nader, his family, and all the people of Gaza are going through, we must support him and stand by him. Please donate to them so that they can buy flour. They need 5 kilos for two days, which is equivalent to 225 euros. Please donate to them as much as you can.
Nader needs 3,780 euros to reach 90,000 euros. Please donate.
It is horrific to hear that evil people are doing this to the people of Gaza. Please support Nader so he can buy flour and other daily necessities. Share this post and donate to Nader. He is close to his goal, as you can see. Please donate.
We are really suffering from everything, everything you cannot imagine is happening to us. We ask you to help us. Please donate to us. Please stand by us. We can no longer bear it.
For the Taken and the Remaining: DREAM
Yesterday I went to a vigil for yet another murdered Black trans woman here in Washington DC, victim of a hate crime. Dream Johnson should still be here, and her family shouldn’t be mourning her loss. Her family said they wanted her to be known worldwide, that they didn’t want her to be erased like so many other Black trans women’s deaths. So here, as long as this site is up, we will say her name and remember her: DREAM.
A GoFundMe has been made for Dream’s family. Please go donate as long as it’s open, and reblog this so that they can get more funds to survive: https://www.gofundme.com/f/honor-dream-johnson-support-her-memorial
Below is an article I've written that speaks more about how trans people of color, especially Black and Hispanic trans women, suffer in our current society. It also contains modified non-religious versions of Cole Arthur Riley's Black Liturgies, as I know a lot of trans and queer folks have Issues around religion and spirituality.
While I write this with the loss of Black transfemmes in mind, I hope that you may find comfort in the liturgies for the passing of any trans or queer person. I hope that you'll remember Dream, A'nee, Skylar, every Black transfemme that has been taken from us.

TLDR; Family of disabled current and former healthcare workers los… Brenna Martin needs your support for Help a Family of First Responders O
Hey, I know I mostly just reblog stuff and don't post much of my own stuff, but I wanted to put this out there.
I'm Raven (pls ignore my real legal name in the GFM), a queer autistic healthcare worker, and as of June 3rd my family and I are unhoused.
We lost our house bc my aunt, who lived with us and owned the house, died without leaving a legal will. So the bank took the house and refused to give us the opportunity to buy the house back, even at full price, unless one of us took on the debts she left behind. We couldn't afford that, so they auctioned off the house and it was bought by a private equity firm.
We are 3 disabled people, 2 of whom are former EMS and then me, a current healthcare worker. We also have 3 pets: a cat, a bird, and a dog. Unfortunately, the hotel we're staying in has a hard 2 pet limit, and our dog is a pit mix, so we had to leave her with a neighbor until we can find a place.
Which is hopefully where some of you come in!
See, my mom has a lot of health issues, so ideally, we'd be able to find a place still close enough to all her doctors. But if any of you know the Delaware County, PA area or King of Prussia area, then you know it's not cheap unless you're willing to live in the more dangerous neighborhoods. I've already been approved for a $175k mortgage, but a lot of places start at $200k around here so I'm trying against all odds to raise an additional $100k to help us get a house within reasonable distance. It's a big ask, but I've seen social media work miracles before. I promise to provide receipts and proof as requested!
