Whatttt happened to this tumblr. it's eerily quiet???

University happened to this tumblr, both me and mod blake are trying to graduate! I know it’s been quiet but because we get maybe 1 submission every 3 months it means scouring through and getting caps and putting it all together lands just on us. Which is fine! It just means that real life comes first, we’ll fill the hiatus with dumb texts as soon as we’re both not incredibly stressed about school and life!

Yup! We’re both good just with school and work and the lack of new screencaps it’s hard to get the motivation to make new texts during the hiatus! We’ll be back when RWBY awakens don’t you worry :)

We were very saddened to hear the news of Monty Oum's passing. It's sad and unfair that he was taken from us so young when he had so much more to give. 

We're sending good thoughts and prayers to his wife and family. We want to thank him for everything he gave to us, that RWBY for some people (us included) made new friends and were inspired to do something, to write, to draw, to create the most wonderful things.

So we want to thank Monty, for everything.

anyway, i'm a highly persnickety fanfic reader so i dont read tons but i dont think xekstrin has put out anything i didnt like

(i do write my own && have achieved a small bit of notoriety for em but i won't say what i've written because that would kinda defeat the purposes of anonymity)
