Shhh...
Gold Making Schemes Afoot.
That’s… a lot of ore. Reminds me of that time when @selarcis accidentally bought 10k silver ore in New World and couldn’t move so @walkingdisasterofamage had to smelt it and turn it into something else to save him.
It was gold ore. I was trying to make platinum. So to get the gold out of his inventory I had to make silver bars to make the gold ones. But, see, @medivhthecorrupted and I aren't stupid to buy the 20,000 silver and flux... Sooooo @selarcis was stuck at the trading counter for like... A week.
In my defense x2... I stood by my opinion that it was a good deal. Mostly because I could not move, but still.
But the real question still hasn't been answered. What is Nix doing with 37272673gabillion Serevite?

I knew it wouldn’t show up in the tags so here’s a new post so it gets seen. Khadgar stickers now available on my Etsy LucithysShenanigans! Right now it’s only us orders while I look into international shipping info.
I noticed how absent Khadgar and Tyrande are after Blizz said they’d be playing major roles in the DF storyline. You hear nothing of them after the main zone stories and Vault of the Incarnates.
Even then Khadgar was hardly seen in Azure Span and there is no story in Vault, he just introduces bosses. For a brief while Blizz had accidentally left Atiesh in Raz’s grip with no explanation and then removed it 10.5. So we’re left wondering if something was suppose to happen to Khadgar in that raid. Knowing him he probably tries to play baseball with Raz and she took his bat out of spite.
As for Tyrande, she doesnt make an appearance until at the end of the Marakut Centaur rep and then there is nothing. Supposedly there is more involving the new World Tree seed, but we’ll see if she actually plays a role and isn’t a side character.
But this is not how characters have a major role in a story. You don’t make them side characters to elevate the main characters and then forget them. I only decided to play DF because Khadgar was suppose to be in it. We were promised he’d play a big part in it. Even teased that he was to be important to the dragons with the opening cinematic upon launch.
Instead he vanishes for most of Azure Span, has no punny lines and has been made into pretty much a two dimensional side character. I swear if you guys let Golden write for him, y’all made a fucking huge mistake. That bitch hates Khadgar.
This. I also returned for Khadgar content. Funny that considering the focus of this blog, hmm?
Instead, we got a Khadgar so out of character that it hurts. Where are his puns? His sense of hope when things look down?
And I agree. Golden hates him - as was proved in the novelization of the movie.
I have not reached where Tyrande shows up - making me question what her role is. Khadgar's seems to be over unless we come back to the Span, or he has more to do with the Elementalists.
So far, I have not seen either in this "major role" we were promised.
Blizz seems to have looked at who we wanted to see, then baited us. Hm. Blizz bait. The fastest way to kill your game.
Battlemage Khadgar by YelZamor
Dual-casting mages, you say? Challenged myself to a fully-coloured finished character drawing. The battlemage outfit is partly inspired by Khadgar’s in-game design, with a few of my personal tweaks. As a side note, I’ve been working hard these past few weeks, doodling every single day in an effort to improve. The more I sketch, the more I realise there’s an ocean to learn still. The point is to keep going and I am, so far. ~Y

Writing prompt? No. Writing much delayed.
What if Khadgar found a way to sever Sargeras' control over Medivh? He managed to figure out a way to break Garona free from Gul'dan in WoD.
The tears were of joy, Khadgar had to remind himself as warm drops fell onto his face. "You stupid, brave boy," his master scolded with such sad happiness that the young apprentice could not decide if the man was grieving for their loss or happy to have been freed of his tormentor.
"I... beat him," Khadgar coughed out and he was pulled closer and into Medivh's arms. Nearby Garona stood, shocked at what had happened. Moments before they had caged the possessed Magus in a demon ward long enough to distract him with a vision. They were suppose to have fled, but Khadgar had taken the chance to save his mentor instead.
"You stupid, brave boy," Medivh repeated, eyes closing as more tears fell. "You should have fled and let someone else deal with me."
"I knew how," his student replied, hands and arms gripping the pair that wrapped around him firmly. "You... you said yourself trauma was a way to expel a demon. I... had you trapped. I... knew I could."
"But not at the expense of your own life," he argued back and opened his eyes to gaze upon what had been his young apprentice. The dark hair with the skunk stripe was gone, bleached entirely white from the stress of the exorcism. The wisp of a beard he had sported had fully grown and his skin had shriveled around the eyes and mouth. "Who taught you blood magic, Young Trust?"
"I did." Khadgar took a moment to take several deep lungfuls of air. "It was worth saving you."
"I am not worth saving if I lose you."
"But you... you can stop the orcs," his apprentice argued and Medivh leaned into his student, holding him affectionately. Khadgar raised a weakened arm to wrap a hand around his mentor's neck in return. "Tell... Lothar I'm sorry."
"You will tell him yourself, Young Trust."
Khadgar smiled up at his master one last time and took one final, shuddering breath and closed his eyes. Medivh sat on the Master's Terrace with his student in his arms, staring dumbfounded as the boy began to grow cold in them. Slowly he pulled the boy against his chest and held onto him tightly as the emotional turmoil finally broke free, leaving him sobbing against his only apprentice.
What if Medivh were to meet Sargeras again?
"There is much that lies ahead for all of us. Farewell..." echoed his own words; the last thing he had said to his student before flying off into the Nether. He should have made the heroes and their guardian seek out the last of the demons in Netherspace before he sought after what he had been seeking for a long time.
My Guardian, the rumbling voice penetrated deeply into his soul, leaving him wishing he had chosen to go with Khadgar after all. Kneel.
When he refused to obey, the demon that brought him there pressed down on him until his legs gave in and he collapsed to his knees. With a grunt of pain, the former guardian straightened and defiantly stared up at the winged Titan that towered over them all.
Sargeras.
Your stubbornness will only cause you suffering, my creation, the fiery demon lord purred when he leaned forward to take Medivh by the chin. In the end, you will serve me again.
"I would sooner die before serving you, monster," the Magus defiantly pulled away from Sargeras' grip.
You will have no choice but to serve, just as you had not before. Medivh's eyes widened in terror once it had become apparent to him what Sargeras meant. He tried to scramble away from the corrupted Titan but his captors held him in place, forcing him forward until he was bent over.
"No!" Medivh struggled in futility.
He should have taken up Khadgar's request to aide them against the Legion. He shuddered when a hand violated his space.
He should have returned home instead of flying off on a foolish endeavor. A searing pain penetrated his mind, leaving his thoughts scattered.
He should have killed himself the moment he was captured. He screamed in agony and fear.
Khadgar.
The familiar darkness of a black out wrapped around what was left of him. You belong to me now and forever.
I'm sorry.
Rise, my Guardian.
The demons let him go and the chains fell away. Slowly he rose to his feet and raised his head to meet the gaze of his former master. A fel green glow briefly illuminated his eyes before they returned to a normal, human color.
"I am blessed to serve You once more, Dark One." He bowed graciously to the Dark Titan. "How may I best serve Your crusade?"
Forgive me for what I will be made to do, Young Trust.
He’s been my favorite ever since I read the last guardian and then with the legendary quest, that just put him over the top for me. He’s obnoxious but lovable.
"Knowledge is power. But using it wisely is the key."
There was nobody fitting better for The Magician tarot card than Khadgar. The Magician card is about resourcefulness, manifestation, inspiration, and more. Those who know the Tarot card meanings probably know why he was chosen for this.
And actually, it was a great excuse to finally draw him not only because I love him and he is one of my favorite characters since The Last Guardian book. When Khadgar came back in Warlords of Draenor, I couldn't be happier and he quickly became one of my favorites. In Legion, I loved him even more for his stupid dad jokes and attitude.
Now he is back and active in Dragonflight (but not way too much in the spotlight which is great!).
Another tarot card in planning and it will be probably a dragon :)
