GUYS I MADE FANART

It's based on this amazing piece of art that I have layed my eyes on. Truly a blessing btw. This story made me cry with every chapter. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have never felt so connected to a piece of text before. Which made me cry all over again.

I was listening to a song. "The end is near" by Phoebe Bridges. For some reason, I kept imagining these scenes that I had read about in this fic, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. For like a week I was stuck with this idea, which is crazy for me because I usually find something new to obsess about every day. So I drew my ideas. I know they are not the most beautiful things you've ever seen. Or the most accurate. But this is the first time I've ever an actual project. Actually finished a drawing I started working on.

To whoever wrote this: thank you so much. This has motivated me to become even more invested in the DC fandom. It also changed my life forever. So again, thank you. 🩵

The 21-year-old Sandra van Raalten was found dead in the morning on November 30, 1984 around 11:00am in a fitting room of the clothing store ‘‘Manouk’’ in Zaandam, the Netherlands. She was the only one working in the store that morning.

The murder of Sandra, also called ‘‘de paskamermoord’’ (translates to ‘‘the fitting room murder’’) was a case that received a lot of attention in the Netherlands. Sandra was found in the fitting room of the store where she worked. She was tied up, had stabwounds in her chest and neck and her throat was deeply cut. The cycle repairer, Rob van Zaane, got arrested in 1986, two years after the murder. Rob knew Sandra before she was murdered and became a suspect of the murder after people had made various statements against him. He got sentenced to 12 years in prison but was released on the 11th of February 1988 because of the lack of evidence.  During the investigation of the murder, there were two other suspects: Kemal Erol and Sukrija Taipovski. They were both seen near the clothing store at the time of the murder and one of them had scratches on his face. Also, one of the two had washed his hands in a water bucket of a woman who was cleaning her windows, which was a few streets away from the store. With the new technique of DNA testing in the early 2000s, new evidence was released. As most people already knew: Rob van Zaane did not commit the murder, but Kemal Erol did. The knife from Erol that was confiscated by police in 1984 was proven to have Sandra’s blood on it.

The case was closed because Kemal Erol died in 1993, before all the evidence against him was released, because of his addiction to heroin. The other suspect, Sukrija Taipovski, died in a car accident in 1992.

Unpopular opinion: TOA but instead of Zeus creating Lester Papadopoulos, it's just Apollo and Percy exchanging bodies...means the boy who didn't want immortality now has to live 6 months in a god's body and a god, who hates the idea of mortality now lives in the body of a Hero, expected by everyone to risk his life for others.

Which means Percy now has to manage everything that used to be apollo's duty (Sun chariot, oracle even though they're not working and answering prayers) while Apollo has to complete the quest given by his father (saving the oracles) in Percy's mortal body. Well the Good thing is, the sun god got the skills of the two time hero of Olympus...bad thing is...he somehow still sucks in sword fight. (Is that your doing Zeus?? Guess we'll never know).

Funny thing is, everyone's aware of the situation and except for Annabeth and Artemis (who also got the ultimatum of not helping their respective brother/boyfriend in this madness) no one actually cares if Apollo succeds in his quest or not.... they're only here for suspence, thriller, drama (especially now that Zeus can't vaporize Percy...or Percy as apollo thanks to him being a immortal god. Imagine the chaos happening in Olympus) oh and also apollo's whining when he could understand a horse/Pegasus when it sneers at him saying, child of Poseidon was better looking (even though that's Percy's face, they can sense apollo's soul).

Oh I'd sell myself to the devil to read this series.
