Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church is a beautiful building of worship in my hometown of Medicine Hat. Though I am not of the Catholic faith, this church is very near and dear to my heart. I have fond memories of walking around the grounds, touring the inside and talking with the nuns who serve in that community. Above all, early morning walks in the summer where I could hear the bells ringing over the prairies! (Trying to get better at drawing buildings-there were a lot of rulers and precise measurements from the original photo involved… XD)

For today’s Off-Ice Tortue Session, we had to do 2 cartwheels into an axel jump... among other things. To recover, I wrapped my legs in ice packs, turned on my favorite jam and started drawing. just a reminder that even tho these things are very much “duh” to all of us, having empirical data to prove these things leads to policy change and scientific innovation. this paper can b the start of more research into menstrual pains and might influence the healthcare industry somehow. formal research is important and the more it’s responded to, the more likely it is to get funded and have further research and resources dedicated to it!

When a harmless function of your body is so painful you can’t walk and your face and hands go numb and you sometimes throw up, it’s really quite difficult to determine what is a dangerous level of pain from anything else…

Head canon that Jason being alive is the worst kept secret in Gotham.

He regularly goes out with his brothers in public. He has a Twitter as Jason Todd that the rest of the family follows and interacts with. The only reason he’s not verified is that he’s legally dead. He hangs out at the manor during interviews and galas.

Interviewer: I understand that it’s the 7 year aniversary of Jason Todd’s death. How do you feel about that?

Bruce: well Jason was a very important part of this family and we loved him dearly
