it has been one of the greatest and most difficult years of my life. i learned everything is temporary. moments. feelings. people. flowers. i learned love is about giving- everything- and letting it hurt. i learned vulnerability is always the right choice because it is easy to be cold in a world that makes it so very difficult to remain soft. i learned all things come in twos: life and death, pain and joy, sugar and salt, me and you. it is the balance of the universe. it has been the year of hurting so bad but living so good, making friends out of strangers, making strangers out of friends, learning [sweet tea] will fix just about everything and for the pains it canāt, there will always be my motherās arms. We must learn to focus on warm energy, always. soak our limbs in it and become better lovers to the world, for if we canāt learn to be kinder to each other how will we ever learn to be kinder to the most desperate parts of ourselves.

Overnight oats before double number two today! I woke up and my feet still hurt from yesterday š« I topped them with banana, berries, @purely_elizabeth granola, and @woodstockfoods almond butter. To make the oats mix ½ cup oats, ½ cup almond milk, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp maple syrup, and cinnamon in a mason jar, then cover and leave in the fridge overnight! The most convenient and delicious breakfast you can make in my opinion šš

Just a reminder to SCREW the number on the scale!!!!!!!! I stopped using the scale as a form of measurement a long long time ago but decided to weigh myself recently just to see . It was WAY higher than I thought and I was feeling extremely bad about myself. Tonight I recorded a few of my workouts and LOOK AT ALL THE MUSCLE!!!!! Numbers literally mean nothing!!!! Day 5 of GO! Outside in this 90 degree weather, POST 5 miles, really kicked my butt! Felt great to add on to my run though. I LOVE #CRUSH
Been having some groin issues so I had to get creative with a leg workout. Lots of booty exercises but no squats or deadlifts unfortunately. š. After kicking my butt a lil bit I did day 5 of GO! And kicked it even more. I am pooped. And sweaty.

I havenāt posted too terribly much recently. Between the baby, vacations and trying to make a difference Iāve slacked on social media.
Triceps are one muscle that make a guest appearance once in a blue moon! Here is the very rare sighting of the muscle hey call tricep. Iāve worked extremely hard on them and my delts. After recovering from a huge mental block last week and finding my focus I feel reborn again! My motivation is stronger than ever and I canāt wait to see what the rest of this year has to offer!
I am proof of believing in yourself. Donāt let anyone tell you that you canāt! One step and one day at a time is all you can ask for, so make he most of today!!
