prob a mix of Mike and Raph. hear me out, im the biggest worry wart for my little brothers and see a lot of myself in Raph as an older sibling lol. BUT! personality wise, i'm a mikey. super hyperactive and jumpy and of course an artist 😉 dont think id be able to channel my dr delicate touch quite as well tho lmao!
My favorite turtle (rottmnt): I do love all the brothers (and co.) but I'm such a sucker for gentle giants T-T Raph has been my favorite for YEARS now, this sweetheart of a turtle has trapped me with a death hug and he's not letting go anytime soon
But deep down...
In some ways I relate to all the brothers, but as a very flamboyant man I see myself in Leo the most, using jokes to cover your insecurities is relatable af (and hyperactive 😔😔)- The same can be said with Raphala, the eldest daughter syndrome is quite relevant as well as the anxiety inducing anger and the love of all things soft and cute <3
A ROTTMNTx Little Nightmares AU that's been in the back of my mind since forever! Made this cover art 2 years ago and with LN3's release, it's better now than never to post it >:)
The concept of this AU is the four brothers trying to navigate this horrific and twisted world that's a mirror to the original show, while finding secrets and allies along the way.

Now that's out of the way, here's some settings and character dump! Read if you're interested lmao
Overall- The characters are around 7-11 years old, and all have their mystic abilities, which will be talked about more in the future cause this is already long enough (• ▽ •;) They are also all very close and consider each other family (April and cass have something going on but romance is not the focus here)
Raph- Oldest of the four, uses a hammer at the start of the story but later on loses the hammer and in turn uses a pair of broken pliers instead (might change in the future). The strongest and most violent in the family, he's the one that does the heavy liftings as well as clearing paths if something is blocking it. Overly protective of anyone he deems friendly and have quite an aggressive fighting style that relays on instincts involving his claws and teeth. He also uses his body as a shield for his siblings. However, he gets distracted by cute things often, and spaces out from time to time. One of the siblings will have to snap him out of it before something else gets to him first. He goes out by himself sometimes to gather supplies and food (occasionally fluffy things), overall pretty independent. He's really gentle to his siblings, and always covers himself with bandages, whether he's hurt or not. Sometimes does things that seems a bit out of character or a bit weird, but no one really bats an eye.
Goes missing later in the story.
Donnie- Twin brother with Nardo tho he wouldn't admit it. The brains of the bunch, usually avoids fights and focuses on creating a path by tinkering with machineries and cogs with his screwdriver instead. He also have drones that can be released from his battleshell to aid his siblings while he work. The gas mask allows him to get into areas that have toxic fumes, tho he can't stay for too long. It also has built in magnifier for more detailed work. When he does fight, he uses his screwdriver to block attacks and stab opponents as well as his claw, though not as effective as his siblings, he also uses the environment to his advantage. When he's in deep fight or flight mode however, he can be more bloodthirsty than the monsters around him. It's hard to tell what he's feeling with the mask on, so he verbally hums to let other know how he feels, as well as hand gestures. Don't take off his mask, he bites. (His eyebrows are underneath his mask lmao)
Leo- Twin brother with Don. The strategist of the bunch. He's the one that comes up with plans (if there's any) and manipulates the situation around him to be in their favor. Despite his laid back stance and cocky demener, he's got the best situational awareness out of everyone and knows how to plan ahead. Sets up traps and lures monsters in with the help of his siblings. He welds a Utility Knife that's been cut in half, one of them is purposely rusted in spots to make the cut worse, cuts down obsticals and monsters with quick and calculated movements. Due to his speed, he's usually the bait since he can outrun most creatures. However, he can be quite rash and rushes into situations, and in turn gets into troubles that his siblings have to get him out of. Gets bonk in the head everytime it happens. His cap is from a doll and he wears it 24/7, same with his cape (he thinks it makes him look cool).
Mikey- Youngest of the four, the mage. Unlike his brothers, Mike got his mystic ability a lot earlier than the rest, and quite powerful as well. A bit too powerful for the small kid, causing an accident that damaged himself and others. He's not allowed to use it now unless it's in small doses, necessary or in extreme circumstances. He uses a nail chained to his wrist to swing himself from place to place, using it to trip opponents, reach new heights and grab distant objects. Being the smallest, he's also the sneakiest of the bunch, if there's a small hole that needs investigation, he's one the case! Can be overly trusting to strangers and naive, which got him in trouble when he first met Casey. Really quiet, only make sounds once it's clear they're in a safe spot. He's also very clingy, can be seen holding one of the siblings hands most of the time. He and Raph are the ones that makes everyone's outfits and clothes. He designed his cape himself, which have inner built pockets for trinkets and art supplies, sneak out to draw on walls from time to time.
April- The turtle's big sister. The informer. Get's sperated from her brothers in the start of the story, reunites with them not long after. She bashes apponets with a pipe, and somehow manages to use it as a boomerang to knock things out of place, she can also use it as leverage to climb like Donnie's screwdriver. Like Raph, she is quite independent and have a tendency to disappears from the party suddenly, before coming back with information that can be of good use. She later on gets abilities that allowed her to communicate telepathically and fire abilities, as well as taming a beast 3 times her size that teleports, somehow; she calls it Mayham. She looks out for the party, anyone that is going on a solo mission she usually goes with them as an extra backup (usually with Donnie). She's the third sneakiest of the siblings, allowing her to hide while spying on monsters. Have an obsession with witchcraft.
Cassandra Jones- The unholy screech that can barely be identified as "CAAAASEY JONESSS" was the sibling's first impression on the cultist. Casey is a part of the monstrous cult called the Foot Clan, with her being the only human child serving under the eternal flame. After multiple encounters with the family, who are trying to stop the cult from releasing the horrific entity called the Shredder, she became more and more familiar with them, and ended up joining the family once the Shredder is released and helps them defeat him. As an assassin, she is skilled in ambushes and overall combat, aims with deathly precision and have a raw power not unlike Raph's. She also harnesses the mysterious power the cult is able to contain, amplifying her strength and access to shadows. Despite being an assassin, she's has a tendency to announce her presence, making her both the most and least stealthies of the family, with the tendency to accidentally alert the monster their whereabouts. She uses a stick with a knife weld to it, as well as various different weapons that she crafted herself. Became best friends with Raph and developed a crush on April after watching her tearing a monster in half in fury.
Cassandra Jones JR.- While the family was looking for Raph, a portal opened up in front of them, and spit out a raggy child with odd clothing. Introducing himself as Junior, he explained that he came from the future, surviving off of the left behind layers of the Hamatos, and is in a resistance group found by them as well. The future is brainwashed by parasites, not unlike the meat walls in the watch tower in Little Nightmares 2. JR learned a lot through the drawings and scribbles left over by the family, and are really big fans of them (especially Leo). They do say to never meet your heros, but JR got over that specific part fairly quickly. He then joins the family to help find Raph. Previously being in a resistance group, he has a vast knowledge of different monster types, habits, as well as combat ability, and most importantly, medical knowledge. Like Michael, he uses a graveling hook to reach hights, and has a weapon similar to Casey's, but with a chainsaw instead. For whatever reason, whenever JR looks at Casey, he got both awe and sorrow in his eyes, it makes her uncomfortable.
Can we talk about the the way Artt is able to make Doug so Damn flustered?😭 like he had him stuttering and blushing simply from his touch. Even the way Doug said it, bro was stammering and stumbling over his words like an idiot
This interaction gave me the idea of a new headcanon: When Doug genuinely falls in love, he gets so flustered and overthinks anything his crush does or says, he thinks about it for literal WEEKS after it happened. #fakenonchalant
AND the fact Artt kept saying ‘like I ALWAYS have’ like Wdym Artt has always known how to make Doug feel better and cheer him up like wow that’s adorable.
Also I am a top Artt truther‼️you cannot convince me Doug doesn’t get topped by that statue
And their ship name should totally be ventart.

There are other ways to be involved in/support causes and you are allowed to set boundaries on social media platforms without it being indicative of your belief systems.
