Welcome to my Digital sector!

An Amazing Digital Circus art and write dump!~

This blog was made in the emotional rubble that was left from Episode 8 to give Comfort for what transpired to a certain ringmaster.

Since then, this has turned into more of a self-indulgent sort of art and write dump to avoid cluttering my two accounts with too many Digital Circus content.

Be warned: A lot of oc x Canon stuff with the occasional reader x canon. Mainly gonna be fluff, comfort and comedy(?) because, again, this blog is soul warming. But, If the idea strikes, I'm open to angst. >:3 I'm iffy with shipping, but I might indulge here and there. :3 And there may be the occasional AU crossover between works! ;3

I might go so far as to say this entire thing is some sort of AU of because this plays differently entirely. Have no idea what to call it officially, but I've settled on "The Sandbox AU", since it's more of a sort of comfort/indulge sort of timeline since there's gonna be some key differences occurring.

Caine basically has his own group of sorts to keep him leveled and the circus from spiraling too far down.

I wasn't completely satisfied with Sugarstripes' design, so is time for a bit of a touch-up.

This time, I tried to make her "build-a-bear" more prominent and tried to mix another favorite toy of mine; beanie boos^^ as much as I love the simplistic bead eyed stuffed animals; beanie boos have a certain charm to them. And I have an affinity for the TY brand in general. (+a teacher once told me that their eyes remind them of my artstyle :3)

As for the candy dispenser traits; I just watered it down to a simple button press mechanic because I figured it'd be easier to work around rather than an entire turn dial sticking out of her chest.

As for her tail's appearance, it annoyed me with how stupid and pathetic she looked, so she had to get a touch-up as well. But, aside from making her much bigger, I swapped the buttons for a smaller set of "bead" eyes to match the aesthetic better. I guess her name is "Beanie" now?

Anyhow; It's a minor touch-up; nothing much else has changed. I still might fiddle with her design from time to time, but for now, I'm satisfied with this outcome for now. :3

Two "big cats" and a kitten

Had to do another OC crossover after seein' a little tyke dubbed 'Whiskin' by @lolychichi

Insignya would be intrigued by the little human, but due to a lack of experience in children, she may be awkward with handling her.

Sugarstripes wouldn't wanna overwhelm Whiskin or spook her with her puppet tail. Best she'd do is offer candy and be as friendly as she could manage.

The price of having comfy outfits.

I find this gag to be silly, so imma keep it as a headcanon.

Build-a-bear clothing is so versatile; they fitted almost any plushie I had (lost track of most of em now :'3) it only seems natural that folks would wanna borrow them often in this AU.

Sometimes, Caine will snag some clothing from Sugarstripes' closet because they're just that cozy. Overtime, Sugarstripes has learned to get used to it since I've stated previously she has a limited style preference. (though you'd have to ask first because she doesn't like anyone rooting through her room :P)

Makes for prime "Lazy Days" and snacking on sweets ;3

Semi-final design for my personal AU Caine!

...yeah, I'm still gonna probably fiddle with his default attire a bit in regards with styles but I've settled on this one for now. (my biggest thing/challenge is to put my spin on it without taking away too much of what I like about his design)

And against my better judgment, I've decided to add in this sort of "form" just for the fun of it.

Not so much "cat" but kinda devil/gremlin? Something he came up with to mess with Insignya's "feline programming."

P.s. I got the pose reference here but I obviously had to shrink him down a bit since I like him holdable~

Wee, i finally decided to make my clown Abel live, and have him meet another certain Abel that doesn't exactly view humans the way he does. Been wanting to draw these guys together for a while now, hope that's okay. :3

I do wonder how this Abel would react to a smol jolly clown version of himself

It has come to my attention that i need a Caine design of my own to make this sort of main "AU" official in its own way.

Sooooo, here's a bit of a "prototype/pilot" design?

As of now, I'm not totally satisfied with how this looks, but for now, I'd just like to show dis because I'm actually pretty satisfied with how his head [jaws?] came out for once.

And i told myself not to add animal features because I do that too much when putting a spin on characters, but;

I might revisit this later on, but I may as well display the concept :3

The three more Caine AU, I guess? :P kinda a divergent from my 'Main' AU.

This is more or less an idea that was inspired by a dream I loosely remember; just three extra Caines that hovered just outside my field of vision. Sorta like Navi with Link, but I can't remember if any of them spoke.

So, i took it upon myself to put a spin on each.

These are just prototype designs, and they aren't completely developed, but once i get them finalized, I'll promptly bring them up when the idea strikes. :3

they look pretty generic, and the personalities are probably predictable, but oh well.

Can't let such a fashion statement go to waste

I mentioned that my mainsona's centered around my fondness of old 2000s plushies, including Build-a-bears, and while i was looking for references to update said sona, I happened to come across a certain shirt and this came to mind.

I'd imagine Sugarstripes would have a closet that's similar to a build-a-bear, having all kinds of clothes and accessories that she promptly won't often wear because she has a limited taste in fashion. (I prefer dark colored clothes and cozy stuff like hoodies and sweatpants personally)

Heads-up; i may or may not include some abstracted characters in my makeshift/main "AU" that has my OCs since it was created soley for comfort and fluffy comedy. With occasional angst of course. But atm, it's a bit of a WIP. [The timeline isn't completely aligned just yet, but I tell you it's before any downwards spirals]

But for now, rabbit in "borrowed" fashion.

After much consideration, I opted to put this up since I wanna play it safe for sensitive folks.

Sleepless in the Circus

Sometimes the mind unit can be cruel.

Believe it or not, this was in the works before I was even aware of the new "abstraction" commercial from Glitch; I wanted to display angst with denture man, but decided to fiddle with ibispaint's filters and mixing it with FlipaClip to make the image less bland(?) than it originally came out. And que overthinking for eye strain worries. >m<

I may expand upon what the full abstractions (or corruption in Insignya's case) in later posts but for how, have Caine being reminded why sleep can be a curse every now and then. :3

More Grumbled ringmaster with giant cat women

I dunno why, I just like having her be a menace from time to time to lil teefs man. Because she has the emotional output of a stone, yet she'll do stuff like this from time to time. :3

Another toonboom creation on my end; a bit more ambitious than the last and thus less clean, but live an learn. :P

Dunno what transpired completely, maybe there was a conversation about his past adventures being a bit too unpredictable, leading to the reply; "Maybe you're just too predictable."

And unfortunately, Insignya was in a "mess with something" mood.

Was gonna save this audio for February, but eh, that's an entire year wait and this is just a practice animatic sort of thing on FlipaClip. :P (that amongst paranoid thoughts)

Anyhoot, fun-fact: Like any good cat, Insignya is completely unpredictable. With her limited expressions and emotional output, no one knows what goes on inside her mind unit. She could be feeling mischievous that day and no one would know. Unfortunately for Caine he's a target since he's usually in her range.

Now I can finally say it; Caine got his happy end! Ain't that nice? What's that mean for this blog? After all, it was kinda specifically created to give him just that.

But more often than not, I'll probably lean more into Caine and Insignya's dynamics a bit more since giant cat woman with teeny teeth man is fun to play with. Same with the hippy bee :> I don't care much for Sugarstripes yet, but she'll still exist-

But, all's that matters is; Caine lives! And we got somewhat of a closure! 🥳

...course, I'm still going to be using this blog for him specifically, self-indulge on nonsense when the idea strikes, but a bit of a warning, most of my ideas are probably not going to be effective anymore. :P

Lightning Round!

Where I show a few TADC AUs I have cropped up. But instead of adding full fledged draws, I'm gonna show zoomed in WIPs of each~ >;3 [trying to get used to doing that. :P like Caine, I don't like showing unfinished stuff. I dunno why.]

The Horror AI

Premise is simple; a Rouge ai from a horror game finds her way into the circus. The twist? She's an especially old game. So she's severely outdated and buggy. That means there could be a bit of a clash since she's prone to cause glitchies...

It takes place after Pomni is somewhat "settled" into the circus. [Ep 3-5?]

Mainly used to show hijinks, dynamics and maybe hints of angst?

Clown Abel

It's... just that. Instead of Abel being another ringmaster Variant, he's a jolly little clown guy that tries to follow his protocol to the best of his abilities. And surprisingly, he takes making humans smile very seriously. Even if his code is a bit... jumbled.

Undecided when he exists; maybe he could be alongside Caine or epilogue wise.

Varies between fluff, angst and funny stuff.

Unscrambled AU

Long story short, the Abstraction can be cured! But instead of it being all together, it's a slow, mildly agonizing process with memory gaps and behavioral correction.

Obviously takes place after episode 9, epilog style.

Bittersweet for the most part, with some angst and fluff.

Stolen Computer AU

(No Pic yet >;3)

Long story short, someone breaks into the C&A building and steals the computer the circus is on. Then proceeds to download a bunch of apps, inadvertently expanding and effecting said circus with other AIs that have access to all sorts of nonsense.

No set time, but somewhere with Pomni settled in

Mainly for funny stuff with lore mingled in.

Famous People AU(?)

Idk, some folks that voiced popular shows wind-up in the circus, and it shows.

Could be before or after Pomni arrives.

Mainly dynamic play.

"IPad" Kids AU

Unfortunately, some older brother steals from C&A, similar to the 'stolen computer' AU, only a bunch of his little siblings' kids are taken along with him, along with a kiddie app AI that was installed on the stolen computer with a mobile game emulator. Glitchies and tech clashes might ensue!

Once again, takes place just when Pomni gets comfortable in the Circus.

Mainly hijinks and funny stuff, with maybe dashes of angst and lore.

Three other Caine(lings)

A glitch happened and now three other Caines exist, each different in their own way. It was based off a dream I loosely remember-

Is part of the AU where Insignya is present.

Hijinks play. No real plot or lore.

Find it kinda weird/irritating that after all this time, I finally have AU concepts I wanna play with in regards to this series. :\ (back them my focus was my SU AU and college stuffs, on top of other things-)

But yeah, I have a few AU WIPs to expose if that's okie. :3

Probably gonna introduce all the AUs in a single post first, and expand upon each in later posts. :P

Alrighty-o!

I think I can show a certain someone from the AU idea I have without showing episode 9 spoils, because pretty much everyone has created him at this point.

Atm he's still a WIP, but I figured I'd show what I have :3

Abel!

But a clown.

I know it would make sense to give him the typical ringmaster look, but in this 'AU' he was just a lil guy happy to do what the humans programmed him to do. And rather than see himself as a ringmaster, he'd be a clown because he'd be able to deliver the smiles a lot easier.

This is more of a pilot design that I'm currently filling out; I don't wanna do too much, but I feel i could probably do better than this. :P

I can still fidget with his character from time to time, but where it stands, he's cuddly but much more careful with how he does things. He may be a clown, but he takes making others smile very seriously.
