This is a blog we have decided to make to help us journal out our experiences with plurality, and to reblog plural stuff to in general. We'll probably draw comics or just little doodles, write stuff, etc etc.
We do have some rules for interaction, answers for commonly asked questions we get, and our tag list below the cut, be sure to give it a read!
Rules:
- We Will Block You Instantly if you say anything we don't like in the scope of being gross or hateful.
- We won't answer if you spam, sometimes we will take time to answer questions, we have a life outside of this blog and if we wanna draw as a response that will taken even more time. Please be patient.
- Please don't ask or guess what sources our fictives are, even if they look obvious. Yes we have them, but we aren't really comfortable expressing our sources publicly because we'd like to be viewed as people beyond our sources.
- We love making friends with new systems! So please feel free to send us asks or dms if you'd like to have a friendly chat!
Frequent Questions:
- "Are you Truamagenic or Endogenic?"
We are a diagnosed truamagenic system.
- "Are you Anti-Endo?"
We're actually planning on writing and doodling out a comic that gives better detail explaining how we feel on this subject, but the tldr is: We used to be Anti-Endo, and now we are not due to experiences and realizations we came to during our own journey of self discovery. This is a safe space for systems of ALL origins.
- "How many headmates do you have?"
Technically 12? I think? At least that I am aware of. This is counting alters in subsystems. Not all of them are displayed on the intro art because they're more shy. They might appear in the comics later down the line tho!
- "Is this what you actually look like/are called?"
No. These are names and apparences we made up for the blog specifically for sake of ease when drawing and keeping a safe barrier of anonymity between us and our audience. We may draw some of our alters in more accurate detail at some point down the line if we feel like sharing.
- "How long have you known?"
Started suspecting when we were 16-17 bodily, now were 21.
- "What kind of system are you?"
I don't feel comfortable disclosing the nitty gritty details of my diagnosis, but I am a system with amnesia barriers both with memory and with emotions.
- "Who is the host?"
Gold is what would be considered the host by definition of "most frequent fronter" and who has the most amnesia issues. Though Lime is a close second.

(obscuring username as not to single anybody out + not negative. just in case someones shy) but this is actually what we did with our journals at first too. we used lighthouse for some time, alongside discord/simplyplural. but with simplyplural being left and not wanting to be as on our phone/computer, we switched to paper.
for people with higher system counts, there are actually really good paperback journal 'packs' you can get at most stationary stores. if buying a 10/15$ journal seems too intimidating, you can get these packs for like, 10 dollars total, and each one only has about 40ish pages.
this way if you have parts that dont front as frequently, you dont have anyone worrying about 'waste' while still providing them their own space. these are just a few examples.
something unexpected this ended up helping with was actually our individual memories too. i noticed some people asking 'how do you journal if you're blurry/have bad memory as a part?' and, well, that's actually why i started doing it. i wanted to remember more than just 'feeling bad' whenever i fronted, so i carry my journal with me and write down basically like, everything.
even just passing thoughts like 'i kind of wish we had beef strips at home for dinner' or 'im really excited for artfight this year'. when you're trying to recover as a system, especially as a part thats been heavily slotted with a lot of 'negative' emotions, its important to give yourself the space to express more than those things. if you only ever remember yourself as being 'angry/bad' then you wont develop much past that, and you start to internalize that shit and really hate yourself.
journaling has been a great outlet for me to vent and draw my own stuff, but it's also given me some dignity and the space to feel like a person outside of just being like. traumatized. i sort of use it as a vault of everything about me, good and bad, important and trivial.
also like, importantly, from both an eco friendly and anticap standpoint, you can really just use stuff you have lying around the house already. i think personalizing your journal is important, but you can also do that without going out and buying 56347875 things. personally i got really into junk journaling alongside writing and drawing, because it gave me a spot to put a lot of the cool stuff that other people would think is trash.
have YOU ever thought like this?????? i know WE hate the current plural diagnostics!!!! so! WE MADE OUR OWN!!!!!!!
it's 44 questions long, you can receive a total of 50 points!
it's unfortunately hosted through google forms for now unless we find something better...
*Due to how Google Forms is built, your "System Percentage" is shown as your amount of correct answers.
Plural systems typically get a score
we are not doctors, do not take your result as medical advice.
feel free to reblog with your result!
note: if you're a system and got under 30, let us know! the 30 points minimum is based solely off of, like, five non-system takers. we're working on getting a bigger sample size!
no no please worry about the "evil" alter. they're doing this for attention please for the love of god give them attention they are touch starved and in need of love. cause they're not really evil, they're lashing out. if everyone else gets compassion when they lash out, so should the "evil" alter.
stop calling people who are hurting "evil". start taking care of the "evil" people. they're still people, and people deserve compassion.
If you are genuinely a system you are traumagenic systems can only be formed by trauma
(I've been informed this ask was /nm but my point still stands)
in my opinion DID and plurality is heavily under-studied so who the hell knows if endogenic plurality is possible or not and fighting over it and gatekeeping resources over discourse stances isnt gonna help
I was in trans discourse spaces in 2019 and its the exact same rhetoric here- the people who believe it's medical vs the people who believe its personal identity (its somewhere in the middle and fighting over "fakers" isn't gonna get us more acceptance- we need to lift each other up not push each other down)
People talk to themselves. Thinking out loud, quiet thoughts to themselves, notes to self, a near constant need for communication.
Just because I know MY problems come from trauma doesn't mean I don't notice the way that EVERYONE talks to themselves, in one way or another.
Or has to work through thoughts by separating themselves into pieces and parts. Planning for possible discussions, revisiting conversations, empathy itself is like putting yourself into someone else's shoes. Having a dialogue (a discussion between two or more parties) makes sense, makes it easier to understand yourself, like it's hard wired into human biology, how would I know "myselves" without something or someone to bounce off of; even if that someone is "me".
It came built into your brain with your freaking Xbox. It's arguing semantics on an issue that ultimately doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of life.
Even if life didn't get me a shit ball and I wasn't stuck like this, I would still probably go to myself for help because I have to help "her" anyway. I would still probably have this internal dialogue because it just makes sense to me, to everyone on some level or another.
And if so many people, when under any distress, have themselves split to better handle the problem (life), then maybe it ain't an "origin" issue. Maybe it's a human feature.
Plurality is just another way to cope, whether it's gained from trauma, whether you've always been like that or whether it is a consciously cultivated skill, it really doesn't matter.
Humans are weird and fascinating creatures and we do the darndest things to function
I see the occasional bit of positivity for large systems, but the numbers never even get close to what we experience. I get it, but it makes me a touch sad. So, here's to my fellow enormous systems!!
Shoutout to systems with 10,000+ members
Shoutout to systems with 100,000+ members
Shoutout to systems with 1,000,000+ members
Shoutout to systems with 1,000,000,000+ members
Shoutout to systems with infinite members
Shoutout to systems with an uncountable amount of members
Shoutout to systems who are constantly splitting
Shoutout to systems who don't or can't keep track of who's who
Shoutout to systems who are so large they function as one person
Shoutout to systems who are constantly blurry
Shoutout to systems who are so large they can't ever function as one person
Shoutout to systems who are large due to polyfragmentation
Shoutout to systems who are large due to willomancy
Shoutout to systems who are large due to walk ins
I'd like to give a shoutout to very large systems in general :] I'm glad there's such huge diversity in the plural communities. Feel free to share your experiences in the comments! I'd love to hear from more folks like us!!
your system literally can look like anything. it can have only introjects, it can have no introjects, it can have only non human members, it can have only members that look exactly like the body, it can have only littles, it can have only ageless members, it can have a full system of members that all have only one type of role, it can have a million members, it can have only two members. there is no set way systems have to look! they can present however your brain deems necessary for you!
