What have I done?

The thought courses through his mind as he rushes through blurred halls.The adrenaline of what he just committed still burned through his limbs.He could only hope that what had just happened was all a fever dream and he didn’t actually commit what he did.

The memory still stung fresh in the hell ember's mind as he desperately tries not to reckon what he had just did was true.The thought raked his buzzing mind as he recalled everything that led up to this.

He still remember the way he chased after him and how his unjustified need for vengeance prickled underneath his skin,How his heart thundered as he ran and how he hounded after the man like a rabid dog;desperate to lash out and sink it’s teeth into flesh.

The calls for his name were the only thing that kept him from going crazy in those distraught memories.The cries of horror as he rushed by with blood stained clothes.He just killed a man,not on accident,It was a murder.A new thought abruptly paused the ones clashing before.

‘What would Lisa think?’

The thought of his daughter knowing who her father was pained him.It felt like a knife wrenched into your chest,twisting deeper and deeper until it reaches your heart.

He was a murderer.

He killed someone,purposefully.

He isn’t a man,he’s a monster.

He reached for the bathroom door,desperate to get away from the fearful gaze of the others.He ripped the door open and slammed ot behind himself,finally getting a chance to breathe.He staggered stiffly to the sink and stared at it for what felt like hours but was only a few minutes.When he finally broke from his trance,He turned the faucet on letting the cold water wash the drying blood from his grim hands.He sighed as he leaned down to rinse his face as a last attempt to wake himself up from the nightmare.As Leo rises fear struck him as he stared at the reflection in the mirror.Unwelcoming and cold,The ghostly figure that glared back at him confirmed he was well awake.
