So when Anakin Skywalker was a Jedi he looked like this
But turning to the dark side changed his physical appearance. Most notably his eyes, which became yellow (a very typical Sith transformation in many species)
And while I know that Wookies are not supposed to be able to be force sensitive and therefore cannot become Jedi or Sith, all I am saying is that
.... You know?

Am I the only one who still mourns for the Jedi? The innocent Jedi we don't see who only ever wanted to help? Who wanted to study the Force in the only home they knew - the safest place they could be - and learn to perfect their skill? Who wouldn't hurt anyone? Who went out of their way to make someone's day better? Am I really the only one who thinks of that young Jedi we've never met watching the sunset from the temple with a lothcat in their lap that they kept because they saved it? The one who believed compassion could save the galaxy? I probably am.

We’re getting Tales of the Jedi, now we need to bully Dave into giving us Tales of the Sith
I wanna see Darth Bane, I wanna see Plageius grooming Palpatine into his successor. I want Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorian to be canon in all his planet-voring antics.
Also Revan would be cool. I think the way I would do it would be to show a Jedi and a Sith separately telling their respective apprentices about their versions of Revans story, and how they take those stories
It’s mamá soka and baby soka this drawing I posted for my patrons one month ago.
not to be dramatic or anything but vader’s natural voice infused with the mechanical while his respirator fails in a wheezing scream bathed in the light of a lightsaber with half his mask cut off while he faces the person he’s spent half his life loving and half his life hating is lowkey one of the hardest scenes in live action star wars history
Why is star wars full of war hardened men who have to take care of a child 💀
i never want to see another “owen was abusive” take in my entire life. delete them all, i won’t stand for them. “he is my own” ??? owen and beru ready to absolutely throw hands for their boy, even if there was no way out for the two of them ?????? owen keeping obi wan away for so long because he knew luke needed a normal childhood ???????? this man is an a+++++++ quality father and anyone who says hurdeedur he made luke work all day instead of going to the academy has obviously never met a farming family and doesn’t understand the amount of work that goes into it and how kids just naturally help out with everything, right up until they leave the house, which ALSO. owen knew it was way wayyyy too dangerous to send luke to the literal actual imperial academy but he didn’t want to hurt luke so he just put it off and put it off.
anyways this family is happy and cohesive and healthy and owen and beru are essentially the main reason why luke turned out the way he did, with all the tools he needed to become the greatest jedi alive, because he had a stable foundation for nineteen years, maybe ignorant about the rest of the galaxy but able to learn and grow and love because he had parents who loved him more than anything else.
One of my favorite things about the Obi-Wan Kenobi show is that I keep finding myself not married to one specific interpretation of a scene. The flashbacks in Part V, are they a true flashback? a current day conversation? a vision from the Force? Depending on the day you ask me, I might have a different answer! Or Obi-Wan and Anakin’s final confrontation, “I am not your failure, Obi-Wan. You didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker. I did.”, is that the last bit of Anakin trying to absolve Obi-Wan’s guilt? is it Anakin Skywalker selfishly trying to keep Obi-Wan tied to him by twisting the knife so Obi-Wan will be as fixated on him as he is on Obi-Wan? I could go with any number of interpretations! There are so many ways to look at these scenes that add richness to the characters’ motivations, that make their actions and meanings hurt more, that make the audience suffer along with the characters, and all of them are like different facets on the same jewel. The writing for their relationship is so well done in this series that it enhances what was already a relationship we’ve spent over two decades talking about and examining, and that deserves some serious kudos, to add onto two characters who already have such a detailed history, to not only stay true to their characters, but to add more complexity, more moments that can be examined from multiple angles, and all of it further deepens the characters. Bravo to Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Deborah Chow, Joby Harold, and everyone who worked on these characters for what seemed like an impossible balancing act, but they walked that tightrope with absolute grace and deftness. All that and they delivered some banger lines, I’m never getting over, “All he’ll see is me.” ever, goddamn.
my last post got me thinking about how much I love Palpatine in the prequels, mostly due to Ian’s performance. Like, when he says to Padmé “the thought of losing you is unbearable”, it sounds so fake that it is almost sarcastic, but Ian delivers it in a way that only the audience knows it’s fake and only the audience can possibly feel the sarcasm because they know he’s Sidious, and so automatically the audience is in on the joke. Everyone else believes him. Padmé and the Jedi Council end up doing what he wants. But it is also very funny, like Francis Urquhart and his breaking of the 4th wall moments. They are funny, but they’re also dragging the audience into being their accomplice, because they’re the only ones who know this person is the real villain.
I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee. (insp)
Ok I did finally read Queen’s Hope, and I know Sabé left after Queen’s Shadow to join the rebellion, but the idea that Obi-Wan and Sabé could’ve been barely missing each other on Tatooine for several years has put worms in my brain
