Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos, and has an earthbound offspring called Nyarlathotep who often takes the shape of a humanoid figure in black, just like Aku, and is described to have many other inhuman forms. Nyarlathotep also deceives people by disguising as a person, much like Aku deceived Jack by pretending to be a woman.

Still not a justifiable use of the death penalty. There is absolutely zero reason to use the death penalty. There is no circumstance in which taking a life for a life is okay.
I think I disagree with the death penalty, but for all the wrong reasons: 1) I think it's much more cruel to leave someone to rot in a jail cell for the rest of their natural life than to simply just kill them. 2) I'm pretty sure a bullet to the head is cheaper than using chemicals
