Apparently a lot of people get dialogue punctuation wrong despite having an otherwise solid grasp of grammar, possibly because they’re used to writing essays rather than prose. I don’t wanna be the asshole who complains about writing errors and then doesn’t offer to help, so here are the basics summarized as simply as I could manage on my phone (“dialogue tag” just refers to phrases like “he said,” “she whispered,” “they asked”):

“For most dialogue, use a comma after the sentence and don’t capitalize the next word after the quotation mark,” she said.

“But what if you’re using a question mark rather than a period?” they asked.

“When using a dialogue tag, you never capitalize the word after the quotation mark unless it’s a proper noun!” she snapped.

“When breaking up a single sentence with a dialogue tag,” she said, “use commas.”

“This is a single sentence,” she said. “Now, this is a second stand-alone sentence, so there’s no comma after ‘she said.’”

“There’s no dialogue tag after this sentence, so end it with a period rather than a comma.” She frowned, suddenly concerned that the entire post was as unasked for as it was sanctimonious.

I'm just saying it's a pretty interesting pattern, the red one is described as high and most the red characters (NPCS) are relatively high energy. The blue one is described as mellow and most of the blue characters are relatively mellow. Even Bubble has been shown to be calm at times.

Possibly the hottest take I'll ever have of this show, and probably any show ever: Unpredictability is overrated. In my eyes, if nobody can predict something, than something doesn't fit. If no one sees it coming than you've kept everyone in the dark and randomly threw a flashbang.

I'm... cautious is all.

If the ending lands and the episode is good, and I'm very faithful it will, I'll come back to this very post, and eat it. I'll print it on a small piece of paper and simply consume it.

I've come to a hilarious realization about Bubble.

So we've all just accepted that these two are Caine and Abel (Bubble), right? And that Caine "killed" the later via absorption, taking his... data? Energy? Skill? Whatever it was, for himself.

In this scene, Bubble insults and berates Caine. Honestly, throughout the show he has taken every opportunity he can to frustrate, confuse, or disgust Caine. But why? Why tear Caine down?

Well, the answer's pretty obvious. Caine fucking murdered him, it's pretty cut and dry, why wouldn't he be angry? Why wouldn't he be spiteful? Why wouldn't he be... bitter?

Why wouldn't a FUCKING SOAP BUBBLE, be bitter?

Also fun fact, if you pay attention to the first section of the episode, Caine (the red dot) makes 5 shapes when first fed data, and the blue dot makes 8.

The blue ai was objectively better at it.
