“Madeleine Silarjuangat” This is the last large solar system I made. I created it for a custom order so I personalised it with my client who offered it to his wife for her birthday last year ♥️ This embroidery is called “Madeleine Silarjuangat”, which means “Madeleine’s world” in Inuit. My client lives in Canada, he wanted to name his embroidery after his wife, the Inuit language has a rich history of stars and legends about life above. Thank you again Kirt! I hope to have more opportunities like this to create more unique and custom orders, it is always very interesting and challenging for me to have to work directly for a client. “Madeleine Silarjuangat” Hand embroidery. Unique piece. Custom order. 32 cm diameter. DMC embroidery thread, cannetille, Swarovski crystal beads, 24kt gold-plated beads, stone beads and glass beads on linen. Wooden frame. https://www.etsy.com/fr/shop/OphelieTrichereau I take custom orders. #embroidery #broderie #planets #solarsystem #universe #scienceart #spaceart #embroiderer #theearth #thesun #sun #mars #jupiter #saturn #cosmosartwork #handembroidery #ophelietrichereau #solarsystemembroidery #sunartwork #soleilart #planetembroidery #universeartwork #astronomyart #dmcembroidery #astroembroidery #astronomylovers #spaceembroidery #cosmicart #outerspaceart #galaxyembroidery
[ID: An embroidery hoop of circles forming a solar system, with a large sun, various planets, and some beads to represent stars.]
It tried to be nothing but with all of its something folding in and upon itself until all the space in space in-between molecules of matter collapsing and collapsing until the energy trapped holding those molecules dense enough and tight enough to populate a universe with matter and energy and energy and matter and still collapses tighter still until the pressure of all that trapped zap in the form of explosive energy rips this tiny black marble to ions and out comes the universe. I am.
Details, part III: “Arabesque” series, contemporary. Painter: Daniel Adel.
Death is giving up control. With no assurances, not even for those of faith. Maybe that’s why people hate thinking about it so much.
makes me feel a little insane when I hear people have missed me. i am impacting your life in such a way that you not only appreciate my presence but notice my absence? and dislike it?? wow

The Hubble telescope was 3,000 years in development.
I see your 3,000 years and raise you 1 Oldest Pyramid In The World: 4,000 ago
Saqqara, Pyramid of Djoser
A ziggurat, or, stepped pyramid. The oldest and least architecturally sophisticated of all human monuments. It shows how back in 2K BCE, humans figured out they could get a whole lot closer to the sky, if they built a tower, and what more magnificent way to honor your most holy pharaoh?
Fun fact: Every civilization goes through its ‘pyramid stage’ as their technology advances through the ages. There is literally zero possibility that the Mayans and Egyptians have ever overlapped — neither geographically nor in time period. And yet both went through the same development of the monumental stepped pyramid, both of them coming up with the same thing completely independently of each other. I guess pyramids are just something humans all wind up inventing sooner or later?
These very first human monuments — for the burial of kings, or erecting temples, or to trumpet a huge victory at war — all followed the same map. These earliest forms of engineering to reach toward the heavens boil down to piling one rock on top of the next until you can’t go any higher. Just a huge, tiered mass of solid rock. The technology was too primitive to actually hold up all that weight while also allowing for rooms inside. It’s solid rock through and through, with likely one tiny burial chamber and a ramp. That’s one humongous, and very sturdy, headstone.
And from there, you wind up with the great pyramids at Giza. When we stepped yet closer to the sky and the stars beyond. From headstones to Hubble, it has all been one continuous journey to the stars.
