I found my missing spare set of glasses. I literally haven't seen these in a year or so. It took moving twice to find them again... š¤·āāļøš
For my 3D production class I had to create a three shot short that was a remake of an existing movie scene- with muppets. I ran out of time to do the particle water effects, but this is basically Pacific Rim anyway.

I forgot to post this. This was from my wife's 10 year high school reunion. I went to the same school, but I was a grade ahead of her. It was really funny when poeple were like "its nice to meet you" and I was like yea, we went to school together too... lol. Fun night.

Fun fact: Melissa Benoist has to have muscle padding in her Supergirl suit so her silhouette looks like Jessieās. The actress has to adjust to match her stunt double, which is rarely the case.

So tomorrow will be 18 months on hormones! It's been a crazy ride so far š. There have been ups and downs, which I think is par for the course. I'm happily married and we have two beautiful identical red headed twin kiddos. We're also getting ready to move again and start another journey in our lives, and this November will be two years since I came out publicly. I have a comparison picture here from when I came out compared to recently in the same shirt. I also included a picture of me from HS to recently.

Just so some of yāall know, this is not the actors or Marvel or Sony promoting the movie. This is them being the nicest people ever. Theyāve talked about this. Tom started this habit of visiting every childrenās hospital in the cities they film at ever since Homecoming. He would ask permission to borrow the suit and go on his own. No one was filming. Then Zendaya started going with him cuz she thought it was an awesome idea and then cameramen started also going. No one asked them to go. Jake Gyllenhaal then said recently that when he heard about this tradition, he had the need to do it too cuz it was the most amazing thing heād heard of. Most of these visits werenāt even recorded. Theyāre just nice people wanting to make children happy and itās so pure. There was even a clip of Tom crying afterward but Iām glad it was cut off cuz I did feel like they were invading his privacy there. And honestly, even if more actors from different franchises started doing this for publicity I wouldnāt care cuz theyāre still making these children happy and fulfilling their dreams.

Gender reveal parties, and big planned reveals, literally were not a thing ten, fifteen years ago. Donāt let anyone pull thatĀ āitās a tradition!ā crap on you, youngsters. Theyāre LYING. People would either get the ultrasound or not to find out about the genitals, and tell people or not. That was that.
The fuss over ārevealingā a babyās gender in utero stinks of pushback against the shift toward a more nuanced understanding of gender. I mean yeah part of it is social media, and trends catching on, but donāt think for a minute this isnāt part of some regressive attitudes creeping into the mainstream with a cute (blue or pink) bow on it.
Even the woman who helped popularize gender reveal parties is likeā¦slow your roll, fam.
