I honestly think Gen-Z and younger simply does not understand how recent widespread smartphone adoption is.

I am not that old, and I didn't have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.

5 years

5 years is a long time almost no matter how you look at it. But 5 years of missing someone don't know but know touched so many lives and even your own in a very special way is a weird thing to process. I was out and proud before Naya Rivera brought Santana Lopez to life. But, her story made my happy, her voice made me feel music in my heart, and her laugh made me do the same. I know at some point there will be no more new pictures I haven't seen. No new interviews I haven't found. There will be no new shows I haven't seen her in. But I am forever grateful for what she did for so many and what she brought to me. I have many friends through the Brittana Fandom. I met my wife because of it. Naya brought so much to my life. She was so special and left too far to soon.
