So at this point we’re all familiar with the state of the world so I’ll cut to the chase.

I will sew and ship you a cotton facemask so long as you reside in the continental united states. If you or someone within your residence is compromised please say so, as I will move you up the list of priorities.

Please keep in mind that I am a single person not an established organization. If you don’t need a mask, please don’t waste my time, energy and resources. Additionally, if you are in a financial place where you can afford to buy a mask off etsy, please do so rather than coming to me.

Be The Big Kind Dark Void

Most of the people on here are here because we desperately want a voice, or a community, or a friendly shoulder or ear or just someone, somewhere, to reblog and put “same” in the comments.

I know I am.

I want to say a word about @thebibliosphere though, and it is a good word, because she’s a good egg. In all the time I’ve been following her, she’s been consistently kind and aggressively good. She uses her platform to disseminate truth and dispel harm. She gives when there’s not a lot for her to give.

Recently she’s been having a really, really bad time, which for her is saying something.

This isn’t a call for monetary help or whatever. Just, you know, go check her out if you haven’t. Maybe give her a follow. It’s done me a world of good just to see her spreading love around when she could be so, so bitter.

And she could use a little kindness just now.

I know we’re all screaming into the void, but maybe, just today, we can all be a better, kinder void and scream back.

Gently, though. Scream with love. I feel pretty confident it’s what @thebibliosphere would want.

Thank you, that is such a kind and wonderful thing to say and I really, really appreciate your thoughtfulness. It makes my heart hurt, but in an infinitely good way. And we’re all deserving of far more kindness than we receive in this world, especially at times from ourselves. You deserve good things, and joy, and happiness and love, for whatever those things mean to you. And I wish you all of them in abundance. So please, when I tell all of you to take care, please know that I mean it. You are more important and loved than you’ll ever know, and you make the universe shine just by being a part of it. Goodness knows you’ve made my life brighter.

There have been multiple asks on why this void exists when hearing burdens of others could only cause pain.

The admin of the void firmly believes that listening is powerful. While they may not be able to magic your problems away, knowing you are being heard has an impact. They can’t do a lot, but they can do this. And knowing they did something however small that may be is fulfilling in its own way.

Will the void respond?

The void has received many questions asking as to what happens with submitted screams. Here are some statements.

1. Submit scream via ask box

2.No screams will be posted to the blog. 

3. If you wish for a response to your scream, Do the following.

mark your scream with a question mark in parenthesis at the beginning. (?)

Your scream must not be anonymous

Acknowledge that the void is a void. The void might respond. Or it might respond late. Or not at all. No guarantees
