The great adoption tournament - DC X DP prompt

Lately I'm having ideas before going to sleep... Another midnight prompt:

Jason thought it was funny.

He had been seeing this flyers everywhere about this tournament to win the right to adopt the prince of this place called the infinite realms, not realizing very few people seem to be able to see them. It was clearly some kind of joke, or maybe a reference for a new movie/game he hadn't heard of. So course Jason took a pen and wrote on one of them that Bruce Wayne was participating.

He thought it was funny. He still thinks it is, having the adoption addict in an adoption tournament it's funny! But he can admit, that the tournament being real, and very magical, make things a little complicated.

Danny will still be a ghostling for a long time, and elder ghosts in general have decided it would be healthy for him and Ellie to have an appropriate guardian, now that the prince and his mirrorborn were forced to leave their home dimension. Danny has met a lot of people he trusts at this point, and isn't so sure about choosing, or if he even wants any of these people as guardians. Look, he knows they're technically neons old, but a lot of them feel like peers, or older siblings, definitely not guardians. So. After a lot of whining from literally every ghost that was even a year older than him, Danny set up an adoption tournament to get them off his back. He'll surely be able to make up his mind by the time the tournament is done.

Why is a random human being appointed by a revenant for the tournament? Eh, whatever, if they want to try their luck, why not let them? Frostbite had said it would be good if his guardian was at least somewhat connected with humanity. He'll point to this guy as proof he's trying to find someone that meets that requirement.

Here's a question, do the jedi celebrate birthdays, something not everyone my know depending on how they were taken in and what circumstances they were found in (like maybe their birth culture doesn't use the galactic standard calandre or sm), or...

do they celebrate gotcha days? Like, they date they were found and brought to the temple. For convenience sake, it would probably be the date they arrived at the temple, which everyone should know, the Halls of Healing likely give a medical exam to all the younglings brought in so it would be recorded and on file.

I just think the idea is fun

Ok, Anakin doesn't become Vader au, but surprise twist, he doesn't know palpatine is a sith lord (idk how he goes through order 66 without finding that out, maybe he stays on mandalore with Ahsoka or sm).

So, yes the empire is clearly evil, but Palps? Oh no! He must be being manipulated by whoever Sidious is!

(also, going with the stayed on mandalore idea, he has no idea he has children, he probably had to find out Padme was pregnant from her funeral parade/broadcast. If she even died. Idk, things probably went way differently, but I'm too tired to really think about it)

One of my favorite things about reading the thrawn books and outbound flight, is that everyone, literally everyone, is like: "micro-jumps, those are impossible!"

Meanwhile, Thrawn and Ar'alani are out here making them like every three (3) seconds, not even using their sky-walkers, their pilots are just that good apparently.

In honor of may the fourth, I will share with you one of the Star wars ideas that has been bouncing around in my head.

Anakin. Little baby padawan Anakin, fresh off of tatooine, a few months after the events of the phantom menace. He is worried about his new master, Obi-Wan, because he doesn't seem to have friends.

(Obi-wan is under a lot of pressure to behave as the model jedi for Anakin, and has decided to put off introducing him to his friends. They (quinlan) might be a bad influence on him.)

So, Anakin, like the sweet baby he is, decides to make friends for him. And he makes friends with a lot of really wizard people! Like Bant, who's a healer and helps Anakin whenever he's hurt, and Quinlan who's super sneaky and takes down slavers, and Ayla, who also used to be a slave before the jedi freed her, and Garen, and Reeft, and-!

Eventually, when Anakin has decided he has collected enough friends for Obi-wan, he introduced them, which goes something like:

Anakin:*proudly* look, I made friends for you!

Obi-wan:*looking at the people he's been friends with practically since birth* O-oh, well that's very sweet of you Anakin

Everyone else:*laughing their asses off or pretending their not laughing their asses off*

Decided to draw Elphie, put her in blue because that's the Munchkin color in the Oz books and I thought it would be cool

I wanna talk about André (Andrea? I dunno. I listened to the audiobook). Did anyone else find it interesting how the book doesn't refer to him as Benedetto, even tho characters call him that. He took this identity and embodied it, and I think it's so interesting what that implies about his character. Like, does he feel like he is more André than he was ever Benedetto? If so, why? Was it the fact that, as André he was a noble?

Anyway, feel free to tell me what you think about it
