Italy Sketches
As mentioned in a previous post, I spent 5 weeks in Italy studying Art History last summer, and I had my sketchbook with me. Drew several statues from the city of Florence, the latter two being from the Boboli Gardens, as well as some strange trees that caught my eye. When I was drawing the second statue drawing a woman came up to me and said my drawing was beautiful, which made my day. Last sketch was a canal in Mantua that was very picturesque.

My second assignment in my Illustrative Design Class was that we needed to design a humorous advertisement for a real or fictional brand. Thanos doesn’t tip, confirmed canon, you heard here first folks.
Florence Tourist Agency Stationery Assignment
Back in the first month of school this semester we had to design a stationery set for a Tourism Agency for a City or country of our choice in my Illustrative Design Class. Over the summer I attended a month long Art History study abroad program in Florence, Italy and it was a lot of fun and a great experience, so my choice was easy to make. Had a lot of fun drawing this guy, and meant to upload this about a month ago.
Caricature of Nicholas Cage as Red Miller in MANDY (2018)
Saw this film two weeks ago in theaters with two friends and it quickly became my new favorite film. Never before have I had such a strong reaction to anything, I walked out of it barely being able to breathe. The film is an amazing trip from start to finish and there’s a ton of amazing performances in it, Nicholas Cage especially. The color palate and soundtrack was beyond excellent and some images have been seared into my mind. This movie hit all the notes for me and I give it my highest recommendation.
Had the pleasure of meeting Vic Mignogna, creator and star of STAR TREK CONTINUES and accomplished anime voice actor who has been in shows such as Full Metal Alchemist, Pokemon and RWBY. He was a lot of fun and very personable, gave a lot of great advice for those begining careers in the creative industries.
Highly reccomend Star Trek Continues, gives a satisfying end to The Original Series that it never got and concludes character arcs that set up the Motion Picture really well. The final two parter is so excellent and the final scene is garunteed to bring a tear to any Trekkie's eye.
Caricature of Dud from Lodge 49
Every so often I find a peice of media that really resonates with me on a deeper emotional level. Twin Peaks: The Return was the greatest thing I have ever seen and once it concluded it left me longing for my next show, and Lodge 49 has filled that void with great characters, a unique tone, an awesome soundtrack, and fantastic performances; especially by Wyatt Russell who plays the protagonist. Check it out, it's great.
Had a lot of fun last Monday (9/3/18) recording an episode of the TERRY TALKS PODCAST, with my good friend Clayton Terry and his two brothers: Ethan and Ryan. In the episode we talk about how we fell in love with STAR WARS, what it meant to us growing up and how it affected us, and our opinions on the new movies. Check it out, we had a great discussion.
