We have had our rabbits now going on a year. We got them when they were just a few weeks old. After six months we attempted breeding the female, and things started out pretty well. She was putting on the weight and eating more than usual, but expected for a pregnant rabbit. We anticipated the big day and provided a nesting area and monitored her daily.

Mushrooms In Our Hugelbed
After planting our hugelbed with an assorted crop of melons, we noticed within a few days that mushrooms had started popping up through the hugelbed. These seemed to be the common meadow mushroom from what I could gather. I think this is a good sign that the bed contains enough moisture and a good growing climate for plants.
