Inktober52 - Week 3 - Shadow Comment Below - What's the first thought that pops into your head when you see an object cast more than one shadow? Buuuuuuut - if you thought 'Vashta Nerada', hello, there, fellow Whovian. Pleasure to have made your acquaintance! Doctor Who, at least in its earlier seasons, didn't take itself too seriously and not many episodes had a terror factor to them. Remember Cassandra, that b!tchy trampoline? Or the pilot episode with the ridiculous mannequins? The first truly terrifying DW episode was, for me, the Silence in the Library. The Vashta Nerada are the scariest DW villains, the Weeping Angels a close second. Anywho, after watching said episode, I had recurrent nightmares with the exact image above (sometimes still do), avoided stepping on shadows and I still do a double take whenever I see an object cast more than one shadow.
