A yearly blessing from Tansyshade has swept across the Wildrest once more. Known as Bloomtide, this celebration marks a season of vibrant flowers, dazzling colors, and the beauty of life persisting even through hardship. Blossoms of every shade now spread across the territories, bringing moments of joy and wonder to the Clans despite the tension and uncertainty surrounding them.
Out of character: Happy Pride Month from the Wildrest Team!
Bloomtide serves as the Wildrest’s in-universe celebration of Pride Month. Throughout June, a new creative prompt will be posted every Monday for players to participate in through roleplay threads, poetry, artwork, stories, and more. Participation in the prompts is entirely optional, and everyone is warmly encouraged to celebrate and share their pride in whatever ways feel most meaningful to them.
Week 1: Your character wakes at the edge of dawn to a sky alive with color, the sunrise shifting and glowing in ways they’ve never seen before. How do they respond to the unusual beauty? Do they share the moment with anyone?
Week 2: Your character comes across a stretch of territory inexplicably bursting with vibrant, multicolored blooms. Do they pause to simply take in the scenery, or do they interact with the flowers in some way?
Week 3: Something unusual has broken out in camp: a lively gathering filled with music, laughter, and celebration! Cats are decorated with berry stains, herbs, and creative markings as they sing and dance together. How does your character take part in the festivities?
Week 4: Your character watches the sun sink below the horizon, the sky dissolving into deep blues and purples as night settles in. Do they experience this quiet moment alone, or with company?
