American libraries continue to be targeted by Trump and his cronies. Via the American Library Association:

The White House has once again used its budget request to attempt to eliminate funding for critical library programs. We have the opportunity right now to urge Congress to reject that request by including robust funding for library services in next year’s budget (FY27). Senators only have until April 17 to add their signatures to letters asking Senate budget leaders to support funding priorities (like library services), so we need them to act now.
