I went in, really excited, but I was honestly really disappointed with how they handled the topics of child marriage and rape, even if the rape was eluded only.

It felt less like a thing they took seriously and more a plot device to make the bad guy seem more evil. And if that's what you wanted, I think it can be done tastefully. Unfortunately, ending it with a "don't kill him, you're too pure" takes all the build up of how bad he is away.

If you plan on having a man/people capture young girls for "brides" you cannot have one of the heros in the story also refer to them as such. Because they are not brides. They are children.

I also found distaste in having the cool fight scene with lobo be with children being carried, dragged and chased in the background as set dressing. I could not enjoy the cool fighting with that in the background.

And even if we take all that away, the story felt messy, predicable and the dialogue was badly written at times. I'm very disappointed.
