This Tumblr account is the is the account for a plural system known online as The Cabin System (or cabinsys).
Our tagging system, member list (for those who this blog), and the blogs of headmates who have their own.
A few members have their own accounts/side blogs, some of which may or may not be listed below. Individual pronouns for those members are included on their blogs.
DNI for poltical radicalists (on either side of the political spectrum), Trump supporters, and syscourse. Shipping is not a DNI, as long as it doesn't enter illegall relationships, or is not highly aggressive when told not to. We do not have large DNI, and even if you are on this list, long as these things are kept to yourself, we do not care (as we then have no way to know). Be respectful, don't be an asshole, very simple.
We ban freely.
We are a traumatic system, but that is all you will get to know about our system, and any requests to know diagnosis/diagnosis status/specifics will be blocked. Syscourse, of any kind, will not be tolerated but this does not simply include posts not relating to syscourse (we remove both pro/anti endo, along with any syscourse tags before posting).
This does not mean you can't interact if you hold one of these beliefs (as we don't reblog posts specific to syscourse), but more so that we will block you if you choose to bring syscourse discussions onto our blog.
This also means that there may be reblogs that were originally posted by blogs involved in syscourse, with syscourse tags removed.
We will not be sharing our opinions on syscourse on this blog, as it does change between individual members and is an internal debate as well
Tag System:
#cabinsys is used to refer to posts about our system, #pluralsys or #sys is used for systems unless they are specially denoting a disorder. We do not use/tag genic terms (but will include mental illness tags)
#tag system is posts about the tag system (we have a more indepth post with the full list here: tagging system)
We use the names of Headmates as tags (such as #cabinsys victor) to refer to posts made by the headmate. If a post is just a name (such as #simon) it is very likely referring to a character not a headmate.
Grouped tags (such as #protectors, #caregivers, #fronters, #headspace dwellers) are on posts where we are speaking about experiences relevant to that group either in relationship (those who spend a lot of time together so simply interact more) or in job (protecters may post about things only relevant to other protecters).

If you’re really a “mental health advocate”, you’ll have to acknowledge people who lack empathy, people who can’t physically care about other people, people who are narcissistic and/or self serving, people who have homicidal thoughts, people who are extreme attention seekers, people who have unstable and erratic emotions, etc etc…
Mental health advocacy doesn’t stop at disorders you “just don’t like”.
Part of that is helping them. If you care about them, you help. That doesn't mean coddle them and refuse to acknowledge damage to them or others as a result of these disorders. That means being patient and loving, even when it seems hard because of the harm that can come from these disorders. Words don't do half as much as actions can.

Lilac being here is a little random but they said a while ago they don’t really want to appear in more upsetting comics, rather the silly one. So this felt perfect for them! Also occasionally Navy’s eyes will appear behind the mask and it’s just the same pair.. they just never planned on drawing their sona’s face without it on
As far as we know they’ve only fronted a couple times, and had an interest in poetry. I just remembered they had something written and wanted to make something of it. It doesn’t make sense but it doesn’t have to anyways
