The Culture Shock festival is held annually at SUNY Purchase College in Purchase, NY. The outdoor festival, which usually takes place in mid-April, consistently hosts a variety of musical artists from many different genres, as well as carnival rides and food vendors in a county fair-type setting. In 2004 the position was split into two roles. Now operated by the Major Events Coordinator, the festival continues to introduce new artists to different audiences.
