BIRTHDAY Celebration! My favorite 2 Craig's plus 8 other rees family members birthday's to celebrate. What an amazing night of celebrati!
1.24.18. No More Braces!! Wow! Kaden looks so much older! He just couldn't help smiling all night!
Madison served us some amazing smoothies and fruit bowls at Roxberry's tonight! Grandpa & Grandma were pleased and loved their treat! They of course tipped her with a hug and a a buck!
CJ, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY!
CJ’s 1st time Baptizing!
Today, 1/16/18 CJ baptized Kaden and Madison in the temple. He rose to the occassion and used his priesthood to bless others. It was a special experience to watch him with his siblings! Our sweet Madison rallied us to get to the temple and we are so grateful we did! What a blessing to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Serving in the temple is a privledge and there is such power and peace! Oh, how I missed Craig not being here to see it. Craig is blessing us in Florida right now working real hard!
How grateful we are for a New Prophet! Pres. Russell M. Nielson will be wonderful for the the Church as well as the world! He is in our prayers!
"True love is love that causes pain, that hurts, and yet brings joy. That is why we must pray to God and ask Him to give us the courage to love."
Mother Teresa
I love the Tenderness! My parents have been living with me for 1 month tomorrow! So much has happened in the last 4 months! They are stable and adjusting to their new home and we are being blessed by their goodness and the tender love we witness between them! We are so lucky!
Suprise!! CJ, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY
Madison initiated, planned, and pulled off a spectacular Suprise Birthday Party for CJ the weekend before his Birthday! She even coordinated with the Stromberg’s, CJ’S friend and running buddy, and shared a party with Seth! Madison made the night special with music, pizza, ice cream sundaes and more food than you can imagine! It was so great to connect with the Summers who made the night wonderful by contributing a game - and bringing Nick for Kaden to hang out with! CJ had awesome friends from BR and Davis! He was treated like a king! We are so grateful for such wonderful friends!
A Christmas Miracle!
Could it be real? This is the scene of what we woke up to Christmas morning. Simply a beautiful new home that felt like it was saved for us…I guess the story must be told.
September 15th my mother, Genene had to be rushed to the hospital and was diagnosis ed with Kidney falure and Multiple Myeloma (Cancer in the plasma cells of the bone marrow). Seeing my mother so sick was difficult. To add to that she was the care giver for my father who has Parkinson’s.
Immediately my Craig and I knew that changes would have to be made quickly. So through prayer, fasting, and times at the temple we presented a plan to my parents to have them live with us. With some time and understanding they agreed!
So to make it quick, we sold our brand new home, bought a new home, manged my parents health, moved my family, moved my parents, and dealt with all the normal things of a family with 3 teenagers and a busy husband at Christmas! Within 100 days all of these changes were made - each with their own miracle to speak of. Christmas morning as we prepared for the kids to come up to the tree, my eyes watered and I said a silent prayer of gratitude. I cannot express in words the powerful feeling of peace and calm I felt through this whole process. I knew it would work out. I am amazed at the love and compassion Craig has shown to bring my parents in, plus I have my Heavenly Father to thank for making this all come together!
President Thomas S Monson 1927 - 2018
The kids and I attended the viewing for President Monson tonight. It was tender as we walked by and thoughts and memories flooded through my mind. We are grateful to share this special moment together. We have heard stories that continue to impress us about this wonderful man. He was the Prophet my children grew up with. I loved his sense of humor, strong leadership, and way with people. He spoke with power and love and lead us with an example of ‘Going to the Rescue!” I can only imagine what his welcome was like on the other side.
