Even with his wrinkles and her silky soft cheeks, it's still very apparent that they resemble one another.

During my maternity leave I was busy online shopping for new props and backdrops for my food photography. After trying different angles and styles, I noticed that I love straight down shooting with some bright contrast. Eventually I want to try some moody styles but I'll need to find the right soulful dish.

The love seeps through her pores, giving her this glow that everyone can notice. There is a quiet strength that calms the sea of life around her. The beauty of a woman with child, there is nothing else quite like it.

Shot with natural window light, a giant bay window covered by a scrim.

My most recent food photography shoot on location with Burrito Perdido. Made with all fresh organic & local ingredients. Grass-fed beef and cage-free chicken. 

All natural light with a DIY scrim covering the window and a white board to fill in the shadows. Background was created with a black foam board/chalkboard paint. Shot with the Leica M240/Leica 50mm 1.4 lens.
