this dress pattern came out so lovely! not sure how many I'll want to make for my Resin Rose table since the lace is best attached with handsewing and slightly time consuming and therefore not as cost-effective? I'm also going to attempt it in some of my drapey crepe de shine as a maxi dress but we'll see cause drapey=pita to sew. haha next up I'll be working on a fitted cropped halter top. ^^

waiting on a few more solid colors and a couple polka dots prints but I feel like my lawn fabric collection is nicely rounded out! the top row are all Liberty prints and with the exception of 1 of them all these fabrics are for items for my table at @resinrosebjdexpo. :D I'm hoping to expand my offerings this year so I really need to list all the dresses and panties from last year on my etsy...

Resin Rose Discounts!

That wasn’t just to get your attention, it is for real.  This is a feeler post, but I want to start people thinking before I come at you with dates and such.

Here is the thing.  I signed up to be in charge of seducing panelists this year.  To do so, I was given some truly magnificent treats.  I have some free two day passes to give out to people that want to do a panel.  This won’t cover your room or the banquet night, but it will get you in on Saturday and Sunday for free.

If you have BJD skills you feel you could give a class about, please consider this.  Shoot me a message if you have any questions.  I’ll post a follow up a little later with submission time frames and specific skills we are hoping to have panels on.

There is also a contest coming for graphic artists!  We want to make a BJD coloring book for the swag bags and we’ll need art to fill them.  One day passes for those who’s art is chosen for the book.  More on that very soon.

I've been considering a workshop for making a pair of doll sandals? my problem has been trying to figure out how to streamline the process since I'm very particular when I'm making things and figure a 2-2.5 hour workshop is a bit long. I'm also looking to set up a vendor table again this year. would it be possible to pass the free pass on to my mom as she helps me babysit my table? and are the 2 day passes upgradable to 3 if we pay the extra? just some questions running around my head. ^^;

I hope to have expanded offerings this year including sd size clothes, shoes of all sizes, purses, and scarves. scored some awesome clothes at the thrift store today that I'm going to tear apart to make clothes for Kyo. there's also a nice darker blue wool suiting that didn't make it into the picture too. :D I have a few more fabrics that I ordered online that need to come in as well as some lace weight yarn. still have to find some shirtings that I like that will fit in with the rest. might hit up the thrift store again, saw some mens shirts that I liked but thought my cart had enough in it since the Pendleton wool pieces were a little pricier than the rest. now I just have to decide exactly what pieces I want to make out of each fabric and start drafting patterns. XD

meet the new boy Kyo! I snagged him for a really good deal and am slowly pulling him together and making plans for a custom wardrobe. hehe

he’s currently wearing a wig from the awesome @funnylori that I spent a couple hours carefully trimming last night and some clothes that came with him. He’s going to be getting some new Grey-Blue eyes, a new faceup, and completely cleaned and restrung soon but for now he’s hanging out as is.  :)

I have plans to make him some vintage vibe items like the following:
