Question
Hello fellow stitchers,
I have a question, how do you store or nicely put away your stitches that you don’t necessarily want to put in a frame and hang up? I was thinking of a cross stitching binder some how where people could pull it out and peek, but I am unsure how to go about storing them properly so they don’t breakdown or whatever it is they do.
Any suggestion are greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
IT IS DONE!!!!! Time to be put away nicely until I finish the 4 jerseys and the other logo!!! It’s so beautiful. It only took me a year and about 20 days!!! Yes!!!! ❤️💙

Page 7 of 10 finished. Finally getting the actual Cup together! Only 3 pages left, phew!!!
Let’s Go Caps!!!! ❤️💙🏒
To give you a break from my hockey cross stitch I will be posting some other finished projects I have done.
This one I gifted to my brother but it’s a cross stitch of his favorite band, Rush. I found the record coasters at a con or craft show and thought it would go perfectly with the stitch. My brother really liked it.

Hoop within a hoop. Ingenious idea from my mother. Lol I also spent 15 minutes getting some stitching out that I had literally just put in because I was off by ONE BLOCK. Apparently I have not learned how to count. Lol 🤦🏻♀️
Ok since my last post I’ve learned how to count so actually this is page 6 of 10 pages complete. (2 of the original 12 pages were just white stitching which I don’t need to do) So we are almost there. Obviously I have to finish spelling champions and the remainder of the ribbon and then just the Cup itself. It looks really good. I can’t wait to finish this and start working on the 4 player jerseys of my favorites (sorry doing 20 or so player jerseys is a little tedious lol). Thanks for following along. If the Caps win any further Cups in my lifetime they will be smaller in size. I mean you gotta go big or go home for their first Cup right?!
Page 4 of 12 knocked right out of the park!! Yay finally putting a good dent in this stitch. Now I can start the other side! Let’s Go Caps!!! ❤️💙
As a Penguins fan, I am obligated to say “BOOOOOOOOOOO” to this piece, but as a fan of excellent embroidery, I am also professionally obligated to say that you’ve done some lovely work here, and that you should be justifiably proud of your progress.
Well thank you very kindly for your words despite your allegiance to said hockey team. But having close friends from college who are Penguins fans having gone to a school near Pittsburgh I’m used to said shenanigans. But thank you again. I’ve been working hard on this on and off since June after they won so it’s a labor of love for sure!! So again thank you kindly!! :)
5 of 12 pages finally done!! Look at this beautiful but tediously long cross stitch. It looks so cool from afar with the detail and everything. Slow and steady wins the race.

I’ve stitched a little more since this photo but here is a cross stitching update thus far. It’s been a while.
So since the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup this year (whoop!) I decided I needed to make an epic Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Championship cross stitch because I’m ridiculous. So here is the progress so far: Phew. Managed do get page 1 of 12 done today despite having to take out quite a bit of the white stitching after I didn’t like how it looked yellow-ish after I ran it through some wax. Anywho first page is in the books. 2nd page/Photo in the works also shows that I barely squeaked by with enough room on the side for this stitch. Somehow have 2-3 “squares” of wiggle room. Trucking along slowly. Will be taking a break while I go play hockey in Vermont this coming weekend.
