I love how this fic moves, and how the author used this particular trope. I love how Finn is still getting the hang of being able to be himself, and how Poe is so delightfully vibrant, even for such a short fic. <3

Stiles is standing there looking bizarre – which maybe isn’t a very nice thing or even a convincing thing to say about a person that Derek’s basically invited over to

hook up with (whatever that even fucking means to kids these days) – but he…does. He’s wearing dark jeans, a black hoodie with the hood pulled up so Derek can’t even really see his face aside from his mouth and jawline, and he’s got that metal baseball bat in his fingers again.

He looks like he’s come here to literally beat Derek to death.

Then, he grins, lifts one shoulder up in a half shrug, and says, “I can’t come in until you invite me.”

Derek is mystified enough that all he can say is, “

really?” He thought that was a vampire thing.

There is so much I love about this fic that I’m braving a probably dearly combination of mobile and HTML markup in order to share it with you guys.

Stiles is pretty damn close to chaotic neutral in a way that never pushes the reader too hard. I mean, yes, he’s frustrating and cagey and such a little shit, but you can still see why Derek is drawn to him. And alpha!lydia is so so perfect. I just… Seriously, guys. Trust your friendly neighborhood fic fairy.

Stiles is talkative, charming and curious. Somehow, despite the fact that he’s blind, he’s able to read Derek like no one else.

This is a gorgeous, well written fic. It's obvious that the author took time to actually research the issues within the fic.

At age nineteen, Stiles Stilinski was the next big thing, according to The Guardian. It was surreal, not being able to turn on Sky Sports without hearing his name mentioned along with the names of players he grew up idolizing. Stiles couldn’t believe that this was his life.

We all have those kinds of fics that we'd drop everything for. I just wasn't aware that an all-human soccer AU could be one of them. (I should have realized this sooner, considering my obsession with the sport)

This fic is fantastic. All of the characters are just so rich and perfect, I even recced it to a friend who doesn't give a shit about either fandom. If you're intimidated by the details of soccer, the author manages to work in explanations without too much awkwardness. There is nothing about offsides, however, because no one understands offsides.

Note 1: There is a lot of talk about homophobia in this fic, because it's a very present issue in the sport these days. For more information, please check out redcardhomophobia.

Note 2: I am gamely resisting the urge to make a crack about the English NT making it through the World Cup. I just thought you all should know.

She also, for better or worse, knew about Wesley.

I love fics that blend the XMFC and Wanted 'verses, and this one does it by embracing the cognitive dissonance of two such disparate characters as Charles and Wesley sharing the same face. The shifting POVs and the metaphors that are definitely more than just metaphors work perfectly in this Charles-is-also-Wesley story that everyone needs to read.

Summary: Stiles is fairly certain that a case could be made for every bad thing in his life coming back to Peter Hale. This time it's pissing off a powerful witch, who retaliated by swapping Stiles and Derek a la Freaky Friday, because sure. That makes sense. Um, there are GPAs on the line, not to mention the whole thing where his dad wants to shoot Derek on sight. Except who he sees as Derek is actually Stiles, and Stiles did not sign up for filicide.

So this fic, this fic! This is everything that I have ever wanted in a bodyswap fic. You go on this journey with Stiles and Derek and you can see how the experience has changed them. There is fluff, angst, and relaxed and happy Derek.

Summary: Stiles was enjoying his senior year until his crazy English teacher decided he made the best candidate to gestate Derek's kid. Now Stiles is a seventeen-year-old pregnant dude and he and Derek have to figure their shit out, because in nine months they are going to be tied together for the rest of their lives.

So this fic is fantastic. I usually am very picky about mpreg fic, so I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. I love the mpreg construct that the author came up with and that, despite the circumstances, the relationship between Derek and Stiles isn't rushed or strained.

Summary:

Everyone knows when you go back in time, you shouldn't step on an ant, just in case you accidentally kill your own grandparent or something. But what happens when you go back in time and, uh, accidentally interrupt the one event that apparently made the Grumpiest Alpha in Town into a ball of mindless manpain?

Well, if Marty McFly can do it, so can Stiles Stilinski. All he has to do is get Derek and Paige to fall in love before he gets pulled back to his own time. And before he makes anything worse. That's easy as pie, right? Right?

This was very fun and slightly angsty in parts. So many twists and surprises.
