Green felt his ear drop, the foot steps of his father soon came closer. He didn’t like this, his heart began to ache. pounding intensely against his chest, he felt a paw go onto his.
“Please Link, protect Hyrule”
With a roar a burst of flame came towards him. Green summoned some leaves to quickly counter it, soon stepping closer in a battle stance. However it appeared that his body began glowing faintly. “What are you doing Green?” shouted Blue, soon making his way to the other. “If you do that, father will be blown to pieces!’ Red protested.
Vio sprinted up to green and held him in place, “Stop it! This is what Vaati wants! Creatures of darkness enjoy seeing us kill each other. Remember how Shadow Link was laughing while you and I dueled?”
Green stayed silent, from the back Zelda sharped her gaze. “I know! But we have to get past him! This is dangerous but, our only chance to win this is to fight with all our strength!” he took another step closer, for some reason flowers began cracking through the ground as the leafeon glowed even more.
This was all interrupted when Blue charged at the other, knocking him to the side. “What was that for?” green hissed. Blue turned to him, “You’re too nice to do something like that. You’d mess it up. I’m the one who’ll do whatever it takes to win! And I will not stand to see our father being used like this!” as he spoke, he was channeling energy, to the point were it began swirling his own body.
Soon enough, Blue took a deep breath, and shot the largest beam of ice that he’s ever used. The freezing beam had hit their father head-on, not only freezing him on contact, but due to the amount of power, caused the ice to also shatter immediately. Causing a wind of shards and lowering the temperature of the area.
Vio protected the other links as this happened. When the debris finally calmed down, he lowered the shield. Everyone froze as soon as they saw their father. Whom was now laying on the ground, not moving. “He can’t be” Green muttered, “Father!” sprinting forward followed by the other links, they all circled him. Beside from Blue, who could only stare with guilt.
“Hold on Father! We’re sorry forgive us!” the other three said. Tense silence lingered, only for the Typhlosion to open his eyes. Everyone watched silently as the other rose up. He held up his arm and then swung his claw towards Green, but before it could hit, he stopped. His claws shaking in place at the sight of Green’s horrified expression. The father instead sliced himself, before turning towards Zelda in the back.
He sent out a flame burst towards said pokemon, earning fearful gasps from the others. After the flames died down, the Typhlosion fell forward, Red and Vio reached out to catch him. Zelda stared, looking barely effected, she huffed. She began floating into the air, “That was the perfect plan. What went wrong?’ they teased, the appearance shifting into a dark figure. Until finally a witch like being was staring intensely at them.
The Typhlosion crept closer, snarling viciously at the group. “Demons! You Cursed Minions of Vaati!” Green’s ears perked up, “That voice” he mumbled. “Prepare to be burnt to a crisp!” The Typhlosion shouted. “Father? Father! It’s me! You’re alive!” Green sprinted towards the other, however he was forced to stop after a flame bursted towards him. “You will soon be defeated!” his father shouted, Green looked at him in horror and confusion. “Dad! It’s me! Link! I just evolved!” he pleaded. “Link is dead! He was Killed by you demons! And today is the day I avenge him!” His father soon uses Rollout thus knocking the smaller pokemon away. The other three quickly moving to his side. “Father! We aren’t demons! We’re Link!” they all repeated. At last the words seemed to have no effect. “He can’t hear us. It’s like he’s in some kind of trance!” Vio concluded. “I don’t want to fight father!” Red said, “We’ve never beaten him before!” Blue added, Green shook his head with a frown. “Maybe if we attack at once? We have to get past him! C’mon guys!” he shouted.
The Typhlosion jumped back glaring intensely. “This isn’t right! You’re not the Princess! First you didn’t sparkle when you appeared, and now you want me to wear some weird helmet! To hell with this blasphemy!” Link’s father yelled. The Zelda imposter simply snickered in response, the bows extended and slammed the helmet onto the other. The Typhlosion screamed in agony, clawing the helmet attempting to rip it off. “That’s better, now remember the demons are disguised as link. And there are four of them! Kill them!” they shouted. “As you say.” Link’s father accepted. “One last surprise for those meddlesome heroes!” they began to laugh, slowly transforming into a Mismagius, laughing madly. Soon after it flew off.
The six shiny eeveelutions spoke at once, “With our combined powers, we can help you on your way.” With that the six pokemon casted a move, teleporting the four heroes to their location.
“awesome!” Red shouted as he began to float. “Let’s go!” Blue barked, ready to fight. “Up you go, up and up. Defeat the wind mage and the darkness behind him, and bring back the princess heroes.” the Six Maidens reminded, with that the heroes has left the shrine.
