Happy 2 years to my creatures! And the Great Adaptation as a setting! A little birthday art to celebrate and compare. The other artwork was doodled in a notebook on the 4th of april 2024!

Silversong/Finch is a new addition on the bottom left. Longjourney in the middle on the very first concept art is no longer alive in-setting. Finch only gets one set of beads though. His connection to the mission is thinner than the other three. He sits visually between the confedants to the Trifold River - Tfika atch Ky'aut the kroot, Ty'her the human, and Renner the nicassar- and the actual trifold river. The confedants have them arranged non-linearly in a triangle or incorporated into an accessoire. The trifold all have two sets of three in a line or arch.

Finch, the interspecies mercantile head of the Great Adaptation.

I really want to redesign the outfits of the others, too, but he's a good start. He's a similar cultural age to the others (in his mid-40s) but looks more approachable and cosmopolitan than the others. He has a bright, burbling, cheery voice - but he will fleece you just as much as Friend-of-Man will!

Things I think about from Phantom Liberty a lot. (For different reasons obviously)

When rescuing the president when Songbird tells you to scale the scaffolding and just very crisply orders you to Go. *twirls hair and kicks feet*

When Reed is questioning you at the basketball court if your honest with him that you weren’t looking for a tail he’ll say Attagirl (for female v) *twirls hair and kicks feet*

When You side with Songbird and Alex is in the room above you and she sees you and So Mi escape she turns around and whines “Reed, they’re giving us the slip!” (This one I just like how whiney she sounded like two kids at a playground weren’t sharing, not a rando merc is helping an NUSA Traitor escape)

Anytime V is worried about Song, the distress in her voice as she calls out to see if she’s ok (thinking of NCX and when the plane gets downed specifically)

Anytime you do well on a mission Songbird or Reed praise you.

When you side with So Mi and comfort Reed at NCX when he’s counting down you can here his voice break on two and it hurts my heart so much. I didn’t want to kill him but I wasn’t going to let him get So Mi.
