Hello did you say MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE SERIES
(To celebrate the publication of The Mortality Doctrine in France. Yeay o/)
What precious little fanart I find of this series just happens to be gorgeous.
"She had blue skin, And so did he. He kept it hid And so did she. They searched for blue Their whole life through, Then passed right by -- And never knew."

I made these as album art for the soundtracks; feel free to use them in any way you want!
and I’ll call it Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
Parallels in Doctor Who and Professor Layton
An adventure with the male lead’s female MVP whom he’d lost a long time ago due to her One Bad Decision, being retrieved literally the second(s?) before she died to have one last hurrah with the male lead, to whom she asserts that her death is a fixed point in time.
They share a tearful moment. He shouts. She’s visibly shocked at seeing him suddenly OOC. Together, they go visit a setting in ruins to retrieve an often-morally-confused person they both knew, and they ride back in a flying machine.
She goes back to the past to die, and he moves on alone. Not necessarily in that order.
Claire. Clara.
Did Moffat pull an Unwound Future in the Series 9 finale?

If you have never seen this movie you need to go watch it right now. I am seriously in love with this okay I mean it’s a bit of a weird (and not very realistic) concept but the characters are wonderful and the scenery and setting is literally the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen and it gives me so many feels. Basically there are two planets with opposite gravities really close to each other, so they almost touch at the mountains. If you move from one world to the other, you still follow the rules of gravity from your world, so you end up falling up to the ceiling or just falling into the sky until you land back on your world. And this movie is the story of two lovers from opposite worlds, separated by gravity and forbidden from being together. There’s beautifully constructed social conflict and complex relationships between characters and it’s just a really beautiful story and the visual aspect is just amazing. (yes, the entire movie looks as cool as the picture above. I cannot begin to describe how well-done the scenery is.)
So basically, go watch this movie. That is all.
luke is precious oh my goodness
Apologies
to all who follow my Layton 30 Day Drawing Challenge, for it has proved to be quite the challenge. As in, it’s difficult to keep up with college work along with each of the daily prompts. And with finals coming up in less that two weeks, I’d better stop now.
I love drawing, but my first semester of college means a lot more to me. No worries, I’ll start right where I left off on January 4, 2016 with Emmy. I hope you enjoyed the original trilogy’s main cast.
See you all in January! :D

Flora Reinhold knows what it’s like to be alone. Not that her old home was terrible; I’m sure she remembers her caretakers fondly. But we all move on, even from our loved ones. And if you’d given up a fortune for the people you love, you’d be a person worth loving in return.

I’m starting to get the hang of this! :D

Luke Triton’s appetite for gentlemanliness is rivaled only by his appetite for food. Travelling with the professor has shown him the beauty of life and the importance of friends and family. Considering their previous adventures, it shouldn’t be too hard to make new friends in his new home... but I bet visiting old friends in Misthallery, London, or even Torrido couldn’t hurt. ;)

Realized coloring was taking too long, so full shaded version will come some time later.
Reblog if you are still in the Professor Layton fandom
One of my friends announced earlier today that they were leaving the fandom because they felt like it was pretty much dead. I wanna see just how dead it REALLY is. Reblog if you are still in the fandom, whether or not you think that it is “dead”. Help me prove my friend wrong!
Once a true gentleman, always a true gentleman.
December 1, 2015 - Layton (@frenzied-novelist’s “Layton 30 Day Draw Challenge” -- Warning: Spoilers! Don’t click the link if you haven’t played Azran Legacy!)
Professor Hershel Layton has met a great many people, and in varying degrees has let each person impact his life in some way. I’m sure he has a character index of his own near a worn copy of Rutledge’s Ancient Histories from his teenage years, and pores through both books often when not preparing for a colloquium.
