Tonight I went with a friend from my comedy group to try and do stand-up at an open mic in NYC! scary and fun! we arrived and noticed that we were basically the only women in the room. then another friend who was with us was like sexually harassed by this old dude who was like “i just want to cuddle” and then the “host” was so racist and sexist that we were all uncomfortable and just left before anything actually started. Ha! I just love white men! Thanks for ruining the fun and reminding me why its so necessary for my school to have an all-female comedy group! :) :)

Really Big Coin Skrekkøgle

This is our Really Big Coin. It is big because it makes other things look small when photographed next to it. Actually, it is a 20:1 replica of the EUR 50-cent, you see it being milled out here. We needed to do quite a bit of sanding, lacquering and smudging to obtain the desired look and some climbing to get into required shooting position (you need to get up real high to take good pictures). The result is a short series of photographs, attempting to visually scale down real-sized objects.
