my ancient computer finally died in a way i couldn't fix and finally, finally...i am set up to do digital art again. i've tried a couple of practice pieces but this is the first one i feel is close to good enough for the art blog.

not perfect, but better than anything else i've made for WAY too long. so hopefully this is the beginning of this blog becoming more active again!

(this is based on pictures my mom took of me taking a nap with my favorite cat years ago. i miss that little guy.)

I'm trying write a book, this is or I guess will be the cover. It's about a girl who accidentally makes a witchy wish circle and sends herself to hell (again by accident), to escape she will journey with a duke of Hell who may or may not fall in love with her. But she doesn't have time for that... or does she? (not to spoil it but she respectfully declines at the end and I hope that I set that expectation very clearly at the start)

Writing a long book well is hard, but I hope to have a finished draft by the end of the summer.

Its so messed up that the longer that you are working on art, the more you want to keep working on it and making it better. I thought I was just going in to add some stones and ended up adding an entire new background, new abs, new faces and it keeps looking better and better
