Once Upon A Time Role Playing

Have you always loved the story of Little Red Riding Hood? Did you always wish you could be Cinderella or Snow White but never got the chance? Or maybe you’re more of an evil villain looking to stir up trouble. Whatever your Fairy Tale dream is, Once Upon A Time Role Playing is for you.

What are we exactly? We are a close-knit group of online role players from around the world exploring the characters of various Fairy Tales and myths set in Disney’s Once Upon A Time universe. Our motto is to have fun, explore creativity, and encourage each other in developing our writing. Our threads are mostly paragraph based, though at times, a shorter response may be warranted.  In them, we explore a character’s thoughts, actions, and dialogues with others. Occasionally one-shots are given to further a character’s story-line. While we typically do not follow a general story arc, there are group events where something affects all characters. Mostly, our various threads are AU based which means if you can dream it up, it can happen.

Our current wish list is below, however as we are AU, all characters from the series are accepted, including those who have already died.

Creative Writer looking for Role-Paying Partner(s)

Hello there fellow role players. The name’s J and I am looking for some fresh and exciting groups and one-on-one partners. I love writing fiction (and non-fiction) in general but have found a love of writing against other writers. There is something thrilling and therapeutic about writing a character or characters against someone else’s. I’ve been part of a few groups that have gone mostly quiet the past few months and I’m hoping to find some new places to try and express my creative self. Besides that, I am also up for OOC chatter about anything and lots of plotting.

My Roleplaying

For the past year or so, I’ve been writing the character of Belle French-Gold from the Once Upon a Time universe as well as several cursed personalities of the woman. She is a blast to write and I am hopeful that I’ll find somewhere else to make my BelleMuse a home. While I have played her against Rumpelstiltskin – and would love to explore the RumBelle relationship is numerous ways – I am open to writing Belle against other characters in a romantic way as well. One of my cursed personas was in a relationship with a cursed Jiminy Cricket so I am comfortable with the idea and the writing.

In previous years I have partaken in other genres of role playing including Harry Potter, Frasier, Star Trek, and Original genres. Until recently my experience was strictly play-by-post with e-mail however I have branched out to Tumblr and Google Plus as well.

What I’m Looking For

I am looking for some new places to expand my wings and fly. In terms of where the actual writing takes place, I am looking for either e-mail, message board, tumblr, Google Plus, or other like platforms. I am not looking for Skype, What’s Apps, or Facebook ventures.

As I mentioned above, I am hoping to continue in some way to play a Belle French character. However I am also looking for groups or one-on-one partners where I can create original characters as well. For Belle, I do hope to find a Rumpelstiltskin player who is open to one-on-one plots that includes not only adventure but some romance as well. As for original characters, I’m able to create pretty much anything. I am really hoping to expand my horizons and have fun.
