Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe
On the outskirts of a small town in the Hungarian countryside, there is this old castle, actually more like a manor house, where the Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe is based. We had the opportunity to visit the accredited college and make them a promotional video for their school; they are open to all international students who are interested in studying the Bible. www.ccbce.com
A Vision For Life ( AVFL ); Hungary
Coming out of the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Hungary, A Vision For Life (AVFL) is a six-week program for 15-25 year olds to spend time and seek out what God has for their life. Just in case you have not heard, The Tenderloin has myths to why it is called such, but the one that resonates is that it is the seedy underbelly of the city. It is know for drugs, prostitution, drunks, and homelessness. It's almost as if the city cages in these hurting and broken people into this district.
But, then a light shines. And that light is SF City Impact, an organization that "exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner-city of SF". Through their heart and love for the city, TL Made was born and many artists and creative people are being raised up and given purpose...and a job.

The Glass Slipper Hospitality House, Citrus Heights, California
Called the Mariposa Hospitality House, this facility serves as the base from where the Glass Slipper runs and operates all of it's programs.
Founder Jackie Guzman took us on a walk-through of the facility that was donated to the organization. The house is commercially zoned in the suburb of Sacramento call Citrus Heights; it is a fantastic house that is perfectly fitting for the programs that Glass Slipper runs. In this place, girls are interacting with positive role models and mentors learning behavioral, social, and emotional skills that will last them a lifetime.

In the past few years, there has been so much talk about human and sex trafficking, great awareness has been raised on the issue, but it seems like a problem that only exists in foreign countries and that there is not much that we can do here to combat it. Do you know that the Sacramento area is one of the worst in the US for Sex Trafficking? Most of the girls that end up in these situations come from the foster care system. For the past 16 years, The Glass Slipper has stepped into this space saying "we believe the best way to end sexual exploitation is to never let it start". Founded by Jackie Guzman, the whole heart behind this organization is to "continue to seek innovative ways to reach and strengthen more girls" in order that these girls, who are in the foster care system, can discover their self-worth and take necessary steps towards independent living. Completely volunteer run and operated, the Glass Slipper is based out of their hospitality house in Citrus Heights, California. Come on the walk-through that Jackie Guzman gave us of their place. In-Country Short; Into The Village, the Philippines
       For the past couple days, we have been working with Brian and Bailey Pruett on Mindinao, in the Philippines. While here, we put together this video short to give a taste of what is going on here and how their aviation work is a huge compliment and quickening of the translation work that is happening in the villages they serve.
Ana's Story - SF City Impact
I’m not sure if you have ever heard of the Tenderloin; it’s a infamous district in San Francisco, notorious for drugs, crime, homelessness, prostitution, and truthfully, so much more. It’s controlled chaos. That’s so it doesn’t spill into the rest of the city, including many tourist attractions, like Union Square which is only a couple blocks away.
We have begun this relationship with San Francisco City Impact , an incredible organization based in the heart of the Tenderloin District. They exist to intervene on behalf of the people of San Francisco. This intervention is a physical and a spiritual one.
This is the story of Ana.

Most Americans today have heard of Sex Trafficking. They think it is in Asia, or maybe somewhere far away. And while that is true, it also happens in sunny California.
There are countless stories like hers.
And that’s why she wants to tell it.

 The United Nations has declared October 11 “International Day of the Girl”. We have partnered up with She Is Safe (SIS) in their month-long campaign culminating on October 11 in order to shine hope for abused and exploited girls throughout the world.

Haven ATL - Atlanta Restitution Ministry
Haven ATL is a collaborative effort of one community coming together to work within their city, within their neighborhood with those who have been victims of prostitution and trafficking on the streets of Atlanta. Haven ATL reaches out to women and men who have no where else to turn.
Whether it is night outreaches to walk the streets, women’s support groups, gathering for a community meal, helping a victim of trafficking in the court system, or sitting and listening to someone’s lifestory, this ministry is made up of incredible people with an incredible heart to see God enter into this place and to redeem. They tell their stories more powerfully than our words can express, so please take a moment to watch and see what God is doing in Atlanta.
COMIBAM - The Ibero-American Missionary Cooperation
It was in 1987, in Sao Paulo, Brazil that COMIBAM has its origin.
The idea was simple:
Latin Americans can be an effective missionary sending force.
Over the past 25 years, this network has been at the heart uniting the different movements in 24 countries in order to complete the Great Commission that Jesus called forth.
The people of COMIBAM are spread all over the world. Their reach is far and at many times, intangible. We were able just to scrape the surface of the people involved and the impact they have. This project was filmed in 6 different countries with the help of many volunteers.

  On the trip we took to Spain last year, we spent some time with a new friend, Jesus (and not the one from the Bible). This Jesus was from Colombia, he and his family are missionaries.He and his family are missionaries in Granada, Spain. I (Tyler) was there with Matt from Several Guys ( www.severalguys.com) when Jesus told us that they were trying to find new ways to reach the youth in the city. He told us about the guy he knows, Adrian, who raps, and asked if we could make a music video for him.
So, while meandering up the old street across from The Alhambra, we came across some amazing graffiti and knew this was the spot. Adrian, recently recorded the song and this is the product:
She is Safe- India
The connection we have with She IS Safe (SIS) seems to becoming deeper and deeper. At the end of 2011, we were able to spend some time with them in Georgia, putting together a video for their Run To Rescue program.
You see, SIS has a huge heart. One that was not just born out of an idea or concept, but out of experience and conviction. They work in some of the hardest and most unreached places in the world. Their very heart, looks a lot like the heart of Jesus: “Jesus spoke out for the oppressed, strengthened those who suffered, and brought His love to those who had been discarded. In unity with His heart, we minister to abused, exploited, and overlooked women and girls in some of the world’s hardest places. Jesus cares for people- body, mind, and spirit. To follow His way, we minister in a holistic way, nurturing every aspect of each person. Jesus empowers others to participate in His work. To multiply the laborers, we train and fund women to show God’s love in their own and neighboring communities through practical empowerment initiatives. Jesus changes people from the inside out. We invite all people to experience God’s grace through the words and work of Christ without coercion or manipulation.”
All that to say, we had the privilege to work in India and capture the transformational work that is happening through the holistic training they are providing. Before this was to take place, Jesus made the miraculous happen in our lives so that this video was possible.
In-Continent Short: South America
Recently, Halle traveled throughout South America filming for COMIBAM, a missions organization that focuses on developing and supporting Latin American missionaries as they go out on mission to the world. This is a short preview of our time there and the missions movement that is taking root in this continent.
She is Safe- India (In-Country Short)
She is Safe, moving by car, motorcycle, airplane, and even hopping onto a moving train. While in the process of filming, we like to put together what we call an In-Country Short. The idea is to give a small preview of some of the upcoming work. Through big cities and small villages, we traveled with She is Safe (SIS) in order to capture the holistic training they have going on through their partners in India. You see, SIS is unlike many organizations in that instead of sending out westerners to live in foreign countries, they partner with indigenous people and ministries in order to have a larger impact of the people they serve. Here is a little taste of India.

I have spent the past hour waiting to press my fingers to the keys, waiting to write this until the words felt strong enough, good enough or powerful enough for the people in this video and the God they are going after so fiercely. I believe that we are never able to truly distance ourselves from the things in this life that deeply affect us, the experiences that move us into a greater understanding of who god is, nor the moments that shift our spirits. They are forever with us and in my opinion, forever changing us, calling us to give higher praise. In the Psalms, David calls these moments pauses, he calls them selah; stop, listen, measure the fullness of what you have just witnessed occur.
This was much a moment for me.
In the back room of a corner street church in Cabo, there is a small outcropping of believers praying for God to take their city and to make it come alive with this Spirit. They are passionate and zealous to claim this land for Jesus and to overcome the darkness of the streets with salvation, redemption and praise. Being with them, you can imagine nothing less than what their hearts yearn for, restoration. They petition him for more, their praise is lifted relentlessly to a God they see and speak with.
I love that there are only ten of us here, that we each are strikingly different. One girl is 19, another woman is maybe 50. Some are Mexican, two or three American, and one guy just met God three weeks ago. They are gathered here because they believe that Christ' love compels us to do something, to go out into a city to minister and not to just love the lost, but to seek the lost as well. Saturday night means that they will walk the streets of Cabo, out into the darkness to minister. Although there is so much beauty in Cabo, there are also so many strongholds. But God is stronger and God will come.
The Way is going after the forgotten, the homeless and those in need. They are seeking out the afflicted, praying for healings and transforming their community.

The Elisha Foundation; Bend, Oregon

It’s hard to say that The Elisha Foundation is based out of Oregon because truly their heart is for the disabled throughout the world. You may have seen a little while back the video we posted about The Elisha Foundation (TEF) doing a trip to Mt. Everest Base Camp in order to raise awareness for the cause of the disabled worldwide, but here is a little about the organization as a whole.
Their work comes in three main parts:
Respite: is when TEF and volunteers give parents a much needed break of the constant care they are giving to their special-needs child and their siblings.
Retreat: throughout the country, TEF puts on retreats to not only reach out to families with special-needs to provide refreshment and encouragement but also to teach/train the local church about ministry among the disabled.
Reach: in other countries, many times, the disabled are lacking needed services or are shunned by the people around them; TEF has the heart to show these children and people that they have worth and are worth of investment.
TEF is an organization that does not charge anything to the families they serve, so come be a part of what they are doing.

<![CDATA[ The Elisha Foundation is an organization with a heart to serve the disabled and their families both in their local community and worldwide. The Reimer family started The Elisha Foundation after their son was born with Down's Syndrome. Out of this experience, they have developed a passion to love and serve the people in the disabled community and have devoted a significant amount of their lives to this cause. The Elisha Foundation (TEF) is in the midst of an epic journey, one in which they are seeking to gather together a group of people to trek to the base camp of Mt. Everest. Their vision is to see this trek change lives, increase the voice of the disabled community worldwide and raise funds to support the relief and educational efforts of The Elisha Foundation pursues. Below is the story of how two men who hadn't been in contact in years gathered around this effort and dreamed with the Lord to see his plan come forth. We are excited and thankful to have spend a few days with them, getting to know their spirits and being encouraged and the great scope of their pursuit with God. Our prayer is that you are also encouraged by their story and their willingness to go forth into God's plan.
