It’s early still. But I think I’m able to admit now that I am going to be okay with Ash leaving. The goodbye is going to be so rough and I’m not there yet. But he’s honestly progressed as a character past the point where he still fits comfortably in the children’s anime genre. It’s been obvious they weren’t entirely sure what to do with him outside of the PWC, so I am able to admit that retiring him really is the most respectful thing to do. I can be okay with that.

Pokémon has always been my personal comfort show since I was a little girl. I get them wanting to change things up. And I know this was going to eventually happen.
