i want to see the avengers play cards against humanity and i want to see them all slowly realizing that steve has the most fucked up sense of humor out of all of them
Tony: Steve. Steve it’s been 2 hours. Steve please stop laughing.
Steve:
Tony, crying: Steve please what the Fuck does your card say
Steve’s cards:
i’ve said it before i’ll say it again there’s a difference between lady gaga singing born this way in 2011 and taylor swift singing “shade never made anyone less gay” (whatever the fuck that means) to profit off of it in 2019
The difference is that Lady Gaga is bisexual and Taylor Swift is straight
Honestly, even if Taylor came out as gay or bi tomorrow, “You Need To Calm Down” would still be tacky because of tone an content.
Born This Way was, unequivocally, “You are beautiful for being YOU in a world that often tells you you’re not” while “You Need To Calm Down” is basically “Me, and The Gays™, have haters”.
Gaga was singing about celebrating herself with Born This Way. Taylor Swift comes off as comparing homophobia as equivocable the beef she had with Katy Perry.
I feel a better comparison from the early 10s is Same Love by Macklemore. While yeah, the song is clumsy and hokey, at least “I received a lot of misdirected homophobia growing up and I can only imagine how much worse it is for gay folks” is more tasteful than “homophobia is just like when critics say my songs aren’t good or I get snake emoji replies on Twitter.”
Even if she has the best intentions, the final product comes off as, well, tone deaf and a little exploitative.
Do you ever feel like you don’t have a right to your own grief?
me getting a blood transfusion: can you see if you have any gay blood in the back?
thats literally illegal, gays cant donate blood
can you just check for me
Do you ever have those days where you’re like “fuck I guess I can’t rely on my family to be a support system”.
I posted my first story on Wattpad!
It’s a multiple POV story about a group of women trying to stop the rising of an ancient demon.

*salesman voice* it’s a good, reliable car, but it curls into a ball when startled so watch out
Salesman: “This baby can :: slaps roof :: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH”
The Showgirls posters have to be the most hilariously terrible designs I’ve seen in my life, yet I have never been able to find a single explication on what was the marketing team thinking.
Not an interview, not people commenting it, nothing, the Leg Worm Head Woman was just accepted and left like that and it haunts me
This is incredible

oh? my god
So glad my 29 year old sister thinks it’s acceptable for her to throw her dirty underwear on my clothes—- then act like she is doing me a favor.
