like imagine if you had a complicated relationship with your father and he was cold and distant but he was still the only person you had and you had to watch him be violently slaughtered in front of you and then strangers surrounded you AS YOU'RE STILL COVERED IN HIS BLOOD and said hiii so you have magic blood and you have to come with us, but i promise we aren't kidnapping you like your dad said we were going to but you Do have to come with us or you Will die, also by the way your entire name is a lie and your real full name/ancestry has personal significance to us and so everyone will be calling you by that name now no matter how much you protest or try to distance yourself from it, haha also has anyone told you that you're like a carbon copy of these other strangers who are technically related to? you're So one of them it's like you're not even related to your father, especially because the name he chose for himself and gave to you was fake all along and you bear no resemblance to him, so once you've washed off that blood and his life's work has been torn down it'll be like he never even existed lolll! but we aren't the bad guys though your father was lying to you, yes we are a military police force and yeah people just like us who are still associated with us did all that persecution and brutalization and stuff to people you would consider your community but don't worry about it, that wasn't us personally so no biggie just get in the car! :) haha so silly do you just believe everything your dad tells you all the time, that's so juvenile haha! everyone from your old life will in fact hate fear and reject you once this comes out but don't worry about that either we have a whole new name and house ready for you and once you've been branded with our special sigil you cannot leave without undergoing extreme torture which might kill you! but you have nowhere else to go anyway right?
