I know you can’t say too much about your book but I was curious about Ty’s scars. How long have they been there, and do they have something to do with his visit to Kit? The scars have been there in some form from the time before the book started. They actually are getting worse. I can't tell you if Kit finds out or what he does, though! I guess it depends on if he ever sees Ty with his shirt off.

Hey! I mean the whole thing is kind of a spoiler so I'll be vague. She is almost always with Ty, and he's gotten very used to her being around and chatting with her like she wasn't a ghost. With Kit, she can discuss concerns she has about Ty, something she has no one else she can talk to about. Livvy's role is really about what happens when you try to cheat not just death, but also grief and other human emotions.

i need ty to be the better flirt. ty who is very calculated about his own looks and knows how to use them. he might be not the best with people but he learned how to mask. he oozes confidence. he might not be the charmer but he knows how to get what he wants from people.

#this makes so much sense to me with their characters #cus like kit has notoriously low self-esteem & is very self-deprecating & unaware especially re ty's perception of him #but ty isn't in that kind of active self-denial that kit is #kit x ty

“my head is full of poison, and my heart is full of doubt, i got toxins in my bloodstream, you tried hard to suck them out” and it’s about ty and how kit thought he could stop him, how kit thought telling ty he loved him would be enough but it wasn’t, ty’s grief was too complex, too big. “and it feels like medication, and it’s good for me, i’m sure, but it don’t matter how your love feels anymore, it will never be the cure” because no matter how much kit loved him it wasn’t enough to heal ty’s inner wounds, they were too deep. no matter how much kit loved him, and no matter how much ty loved him back, that love wasn’t enough to save ty from his hurt, to fill the void left by livvy, from that unfathomable grief that drove ty to do what he did.
