Legolas having a bit of an existential crisis over just how fast mortals, particularly Gimli, age. Time for him to build his boat.

Made for this months art challenge for the @whumplovers-collaborate on discord, the prompt was embrace, leaf, left to die.

Bagginshield Reshirement AU but instead of it being forever lovely and sweet, it’s Thorin suffering in the Shire’s summer heat because he was born and raised on a cold mountain.

The poor man is even more miserable than usual because his Dwarfish Bulk TM makes it so he retains heat remarkably well, his lovely long hair making things worse. As much as he tries to enjoy the peace, there’s only so much he can stand while being sweaty and stinky and tired and having to carry a parasol and a bloody frilly handkerchief around to dab at his forehead.

Eventually Thorin takes to just laying in his underwear in Bilbo’s garden under an umbrella as Bilbo goes around watering his flowers, occasionally watering Thorin while he’s at it.

Surprise, surprise! As I finish the final chapters of MIMHBIMB, I've been commissioning artists within the fandom to create some incredible pieces centered around my fanfic.

This has been my longest piece I've ever written, and as such, I want to celebrate this fun milestone as the last few chapters come out.

A The hobbit AU where Bilbo is a highly experienced hobbit who has traveled the world, knows how to fight and even speaks Khuzdul before he even meets he Company. But neither himslef nor gandalf tells the company about it so everyone finds out about bilbo skills as the journey unfolds and they'r all just like "Damn who tf is this dude".

Meanwhile, Thorin is glaring daggers at Bilbo while secretly wishing he could make him his consort.

Summary

As the company leaves the safety of Beorn's home, Bilbo lets slip (in polite conversation) that romantically, he favours males over females - after a stunned silence, the dwarves lay down their arms, and begin a massive and hectic brawl.

Bilbo is pulled gently away to watch but is nervous and confused, he finally finds out that he is essentially the prize of this 'honour fight'.
