i truly do not understand why tales of the shire is getting as much hate as it is. i have 40 (forty) hours in this game already and every single minute has been an absolute delight. the gameplay loop is addicting, the graphics are adorable, the story is compelling, they LITERALLY SPRINKLE IN MIDDLE EARTH LORE!!! they talk about the fell winter and the dunedain and the dwarves in the blue mountains and it’s INCREDIBLE!!! my literal only complaint so far has been the occasional bug now and then but EVERY SINGLE GAME has those.

I love asking people how their parents met. You always get an interesting reply. My best friend’s parents met on the relatively new internet in 1999. My other friend’s parents met at Burger King when one was the manager and the other was a regular customer. My parents met at the beach because they were neighbors in their rental houses, mom was on a church trip and dad was getting blackout drunk every night with his friends next door.

k but imagine Rocky wanting to learn about how humans became the apex predators of their planet so he has Grace “hunt” him in the biodome as an experiment and during it he thinks Grace isn’t trying or taking it seriously which is bad bad bad because this is for research purposes

only for Rocky to get more and more tired as the experiment goes on just to realize that Grace isn’t which makes him panic so he puts as much distance as he can between them and finds a (hopefully) safe spot to sleep and when he wakes up the human is crouching over him like “got youuu” and Rocky has never shrieked so damn loud before in his life
