hearing a beloved friend say the words 'can i be mean for a sec' is like watching an angel descend from the heavens and kiss you on the forehead
The stereotype of the nerd girl taking her glasses off and suddenly she's beautiful, but in reverse. A cold tough mean office lady who glares at everyone until she gets glasses and suddenly becomes sweet, approachable and friendly since she no longer has a constant headache over not being able to fucking see, doesn't need to squint at everything, and actually remembers individual people by name now that she can tell them apart at all.
It's crazy that I used to live without the saluting emoji
This is Money Snake. She only appears every 312 years.Â
If you reblog her picture within the next twenty-five seconds you will have good luck and fortune for the rest of your life.Â
I reblogged her late last year and my 2024 has been very satisfying work-wise and (secure enough to not stress out) money-wise so far. Money Snake is wise and good.
hitting return early on libby when there's people waiting and feeling like a benevolent queen distributing alms to the poor
Touching grass is not enough; I need to travel far over the misty mountains cold.

theo van gogh was the one who suggested that his older brother vincent start seriously painting. as soon as theo was gainfully employed he gave vincent around 15% of his own yearly salary for art supplies, lodging, and food. about 2/3rds of vincent's surviving letters were to theo (including vincent's earliest and last letters), all of which were found stored in theo's desk. theo's child, vincent willem, was born on january 31st, 1890, and vincent was so delighted by his nephew that he painted almond blossoms for him. vincent shot himself half a year later on july 29th, 1890. theo's distress at his brother's death worsened his syphilis symptoms and he died half a year after his brother on january 25th, 1891 (four days before vincent willem's first birthday). theo was reburied next to vincent in auvers-sur-oise at the request of theo's wife johanna.
Almond Blossoms, 1890, Vincent van Gogh
I really wish there was just a doctor who streaming service. With all the doctor who series, all spinoffs, everything. Literally every doctor who media in one place. The things I would do for this.
My body is a machine that turns everyday normal things into a doctor who reference
has anyone done this
"I'm not your boyfriend/never said it was your mistake is the most Twelveclara line ever" "No it's do you think I care for you so little betraying me would make a difference"
You're all wrong it's this one actually
Clara's the only companion we regularly get to see confront the villain without the Doctor and manage to not only hold her own but succeed. Even in Deep Breath, where she's visibly shake and scared and not used to this, she wins and turns the tables on her opponent so she's interrogating him. Usually we only see companions confront the villains alone to show how out of their depth they are and need the Doctor to ultimately come in and save the day.
But Clara frequently gets to do it herself without failure, and we see her become progressively more confident (and more cocky) at it. Lots of companions get to fill-in for the Doctor when they're out of action, but Clara is still the only one that you can honestly say became her own Doctor that it was no longer a question of "What would the Doctor do?" but "What will I do?"
more people need to realize and utilize how fucking INSANE spencer reid is. he killed someone for the first time like two weeks after he turned 24. he killed a guy that kidnapped and tortured him and then stole hard drugs off his dead body. then he continued to do said hard drugs for at least two months while working as an active field agent. he's so good at rambling that he actually managed to distract a serial killer from killing him once. this guy rocked up to his father, who he hadn’t seen in 18 years fyi, and accused him of molesting and murdering a toddler. he had anthrax poisoning once. all of this before he turned 30 btw. character of all time fr
rachel zegler is so much better than me because if i had to work with a literal war criminal who can't act for shit and a movie that used cgi dwarves and had a poorly written script and then was blamed for the failure of the movie because i had the guts to say free palestine despite being the only saving grace of the film, i would 100% crash out
