//Ah yes Munday, the day where the people rise up and tell their characters to take a day off so they can be better prepared for more Shitposting antics later.
Anyway, I wanna just take this time and talk for a second about roleplaying because it’s gotten me sort of... frustrated recently. I think in the 4~ years I’ve taken up this hobby my views on it have changed as I’ve taken more of a watcher than participant (in terms of writing anyway.)
It’s... basically like this: Roleplaying is when two or more participants create a story. From the first action that’s made to the conclusion whether it’s relayed to the readers or not.
Here on Tumblr you get into Roleplaying with asks initiated by prompts to make things easier, which is cool in it’s own space since some prompts have really interesting situations for characters. That’s how a majority of roleplaying goes here, the others are when parties get together and discuss a story from it’s beginning and write it out from there, somewhere between them getting together and the story being created they become roleplay partners.
No matter how you get there, you still get to the act of Roleplaying. You both make the choice of creating a story together, but what happens when you have a disagreement about the way a story is progressing or just flat out don’t want to be involved in it? When you’re writing one together you can just opt out- drop the thread and be done. Because simply, when something stops being fun to you or interesting you’ve got the ability to say “No, I’m done.” even if the outcome has consequences.
I had more to say but then I left this sitting around too long and I’m not really sure where to take it. Anyway, happy Munday and just remember: if something, not just roleplaying isn’t fun or interesting for you, don’t feel obligated to continue it, do what makes you happy.
// it's the Flash
//Coincidentally I just had a really good Hecarim game where a salty Nidalee called me The Flash...
COINCIDENCE?! I think not.

4. On your fandom.
//I have a love/hate relationship with it, it’s only the second one I’ve been in but that’s one more than I need to know that they’re all the same at the end of the day, there’s drama, there’s love, there’s hate and spite but it’s what makes the dashboard fill up.
But… maybe we can not fly off the handle at people so quickly? That’d be a great step to start taking.
7. On hate.
//Hate it. Only because when it’s stated it’s AT rather than TO and causes shit to blow up needlessly. Like, it’s cool to straight up hate someone. Really it is, it’s not cool to hate someone and drag them through the mud just because you hate them.
8. On positivity.
//When we’re not drowning in salt over matches or Riot decisions with lore there’s plenty of it thrown around, it’s… pleasant.

Re-introduction
//Hi new people, I’m horse-mun but I’d prefer it if you call me Razie.
If you’ve followed me recently it’s not hard to notice I don’t really roleplay much (I never really did, but I digress!)
Think of me as a one-of-nine stop shop for anything Shadow-Isles or Hecarim related hit up my inbox, chances are I’m prowling.
Thanks for reading and enjoy your stay in the land of the ramblings of an incredibly angry Centaur.

White Supremacy
// Alright guys, real talk. And this one’s important, not just me complaining about some random bullshit that doesn’t matter to anyone.
Let’s talk about white supremacy.
Yes. That’s the word I’m using, and I’m not using it ironically. White supremacy is the political ideology that perpetuates the social, political, and industrial domination of the white people over the other ethnicities. It’s something undeniable in the history of the world, and that permeates both our own culture, and the cultures of those that are dominated.
Let me repeat that. It permeates the culture of those that are are not the dominating white race. And what does that mean? The corporate world gives us some hints. There’s a multi-million dollar industry out there producing skin lightening creams and treatments, particularly in Eastern Asia. I’ll remind you here that industry has nothing to do with racism - if a product is unwanted or unused, it won’t sell. The reason that these products see so much use is not because it’s being forced on a culture. It’s because this culture itself is sees something other than their natural skin pigmentation as ideal. The same is true for hair colors and curliness. Of heights and body types. Yes, and even of facial features. If you don’t believe you I’ll find you the products that show this is a problem.
This is not racism.
Everyone likes throwing racism at each others faces. Blowing the whistle and pretending we can pin this problem on individuals instead of considering the massive intercultural problem it is. Calling people out for “depicting racist ideals.” Becoming defensive and approaching the thoughts of others with hate.
That is the perpetuation of racism.
When you do this, no matter how good your intentions are, you are making the problem worse. These tactics are closer to racism than the behaviors they degrade. I feel like at some level, people ought to be able to understand this in this day and age. People are individuals. They have their own thoughts, ideas, personalities, histories, and values. And unfortunately, the history of our world has made white supremacy a very real part of every individual’s upbringing for the vast majority of the world. When you ignore everything that has gone into their upbringing, everything that they’ve seen and experienced, the humanity of their person to call them and their ideas “racist,” you are completely missing the point of the discussion that needs to be had.
Cultural whitewashing is a problem that exists in the world.
And it won’t go away by screaming at each other. We need to talk to people about the beliefs that they have and the way they interpret the world around them. We need to have the agency to be honest with ourselves and use our voices to speak about our own experiences. We need to be able to tell people our misconceptions without fear, so that we can learn and overcome them. And getting angry or yelling “racism” silences all of that. It’s a very easy psychological way to prevent them from ever overcoming the cultural influences in their lives, because even mentioning that they exist labels them as evil. This denies people their own humanity in a way that will never change their outlook on the world - is that so different from racism itself?
I’m starting to get emotional and repeat myself so I’ll cut this off here. I’m sick of people using racism as a sword and shield for their actions and ignoring the cultural and sociological implications of history. Stop hating each other for stupid reasons and talk like human beings. The only way to learn and grow is to have some empathy for the humanity that surrounds you, no matter which side of this issue you fall on.
//TBH I think that ‘Racist’ has become a buzzword and not many people REALLY know what it means.
It’s just like ‘Toxic’ or ‘Anti-fun’ or as of recently ‘Clunky’. They’re buzzwords that the community uses and when they’re being thrown around it sounds proper but in actuality they’re not.
//Lurking feels nice.
By the way I’m lurking. That’s something I probably should’ve posted awhile back.
League OC Challenge
So, I’ve been in a really creative mood. Why? I couldn’t tell ya. Anyways, I thought it would be a great idea to promote creativity and some OC love into the community. So, I’m calling on my fellow artists and writers to help me out with this and even take upon the challenge yourself!
The challenge is simple, Every day you come up with a League OC. They could be a champion, they could be an average person! The sky is the limit here! Draw a quick sketch or write a quick bio! Anything! The goal of this challenge is to get those creative juices flowing and to also give some appreciation to OCs. Who knows? Maybe you’ll like a character so much you’ll write more about them! (I know I’ve done that many times.) Maybe even a blog? Who knows! Nothing is more cool as a writer or artist to see a idea flourish!
So what are the rules?
Rule 1: If you already have an OC for a certain faction/area, congrats! You’re ahead of the game as they count!
Rule 2: This one a bit obvious, but don’t bash others ideas. Seriously, respect them and the person behind it.
Rule 3-ish: It is nice, but not required, to write at least a paragraph about your creations. Wanna write something really long? Go for it! Wanna write a short story for them explaining their character! Awesome! Wanna make abilities/art for them? Do it!
Rule 4: HAVE FUN.
So now that is out of the way, let’s go for the days.
Day 1: Demacia
Day 2: Mount Targon
Day 3: Freljord
Day 4: Shurima
Day 5: Noxus
Day 6: Ionia
Day 7: Bilgewater
Day 8: Bandle City
Day 9: Zaun
Day 10: Shadow Isles
Day 11: Void/Icathia
Day 12: Kumungu Jungle
Day 13: Independent OC/Sentient Race OC ( Angel, Brackerns, Celestials, Darkin, Ursine, Minotaur, Monkey, Armordillos, Summoners ect.)
Day 14: Favorite OC! -Choose your favorite OC out of the ones you created and write a drabble about them or give them a champion kit/make them into a champion or create a splash art for them, or talk about why they are your favorite!
That is about it! Have fun :D Also, if you want to let me know! Tag your Oc’s with #LeagueOCChallenge
