I travel at night

There was a time, or at least my mother always said, when we had a home. I was too young to remember much. Apparently we lived in a small village, that was attacked. She told me the elders desperately tried to save the village, but the destruction could not be stopped. My people were no longer safe there, so we had to leave. We traveled from place to place for about seven years, we stuck together. However, on one morning I woke up...and I was alone. Everyone was gone. Ever since I have been traveling alone to find my family again, to discover the truth. Note:Scroll over the moon for some helpful links. (( Independent RP blog. She did not respond, as she felt a scrutinizing look upon her. The faerie lifted golden-brown eyes to meet his gaze. Summoning an awkward silence, while Star attempted to figure out that she isn’t human.

After a long moment of silence he spoke, eyes going back into their normal position. "I hope you don't mind me camping out here.."

She waited until he came out, holding out a small cup with a odd sort of herbal tea in it. “Here, drink this, it should ease yer stomach…Meat?” She looked at him in confusion, before a flood of understanding shifted it to something like guilt. “Oh, yer like my friend, Chulyin, I bet? Don’t eat meat at all?”

In her foreign tongue, she muttered about how strange it is, but otherwise, she apologized over and over. “I really should’ve asked before I ordered, I jus’ didn’t think!”

Star took the drink before chugging it desperately, hoping to the heavens above her claims were correct. He nods, perking an eyebrow. The man had a feeling she was saying something ill-mannered about him in a language he couldn't understand, but he shrugged it off.

"Nope, no meat.. but it's okay ya didn't know. Ya were jus trying to help ma'am"

That was normal? To him at least? Chi An blinked owlishly for a moment or two before raising a brow. 

“So…In a way you’re used to it?” Well that was a stupid question to ask, way to go. Her hand rubbed her forearm, starting to feel her face burn slightly in embarrassment for coming up with such a foolish question.

“I mean, not to sound rude or anything…”

It was normal for Star, something about a vagabond made people nervous. Star chuckled at her, leaning forward to poke her red cheek. "You don't sound rude, not one bit." he commented, giving yet another shrug. "I guess you could say that I'm used to it yes. "

“Ah, forgive me,” he replied. “My name is Josef.” The ashen blond gave a flourished bow, rising quickly. “Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance, little bird.”

" I suppose I could say the same, though it might be too soon for that Josef" he said, wondering if he should be bowing back or not. He ends up giving a small awkward bow, pieces of dark hair falling into his face.

Galaxies

Connor patrolled the borders of his Homestead atop his mare, making sure the village was safe. It was at night that most guards would assault the Homestead, thinking no one would know. But Connor was no fool, he knew people too well. A torch in one hand, the reigns in the other, he kept on, close to the end of his shift.

Star had left Connor and his homestead behind a couple of days ago, but couldn't let it go. Normally he didn't grow so attached to others so easily, or give in to his hearts whims to go back somewhere... but something made him go back. On top of his horse he sat a few yards away from his new friend, unaware that he could be seen as a threat if he were to be spotted. He wasn't sure if he should just turn back now, or continue until he was back again. Part of him was sure Connor had moved on, and this was pointless..but yet something still told him to come back.

“Ah, not exactly,” she explained with a bit of a shrug. Though she was sincere, positive that sometimes that nervous laugh ended her sentences without her knowing.

“IF it did seem like that, my apologies,” Chi An stated, rubbing the back of her neck slightly.
