Lately I’ve dusted off my old Saga of Steve playlist and decided to expand it. Like, A LOT. Like, it’s currently hovering around 4 hours 😬 It’s been super fun and is reminding me how much I love this story. So I’ll post that if I ever stop waffling over what song I wanna kill Crepsley to. Maybe do some sort of companion illustration project? Idk anyway I’m still alive and still love cdf

if Steve was a person what kind of energy drink would he drink

is he a monster drinker, a Red Bull drinker, or some unholy other creation (Bang)

Steve learned how to jerry-rig an IV system so he can have a drip line or pure caffeine. Because drinking energy drinks means he’ll have to pee, and he does NOT HAVE TIME to break from his scheming to go to the bathroom! IMAGINE. In those precious two minutes, he may have a flash on inspiration into the most efficient way to build a massive colosseum in a city’s sewer system without alerting city workers, then forget the details before he’s able to pull up his pants and run back to his desk to write it down because his memory is shot from staying up for 134 hours straight shut THE HELL UP GANNEN I CANT THINK OVER YOUR NAGGING.

In light of the Josh Hutcherson renaissance, does it kill anyone else that we didn't get to see more of him as Steve in CDF? If they had made a more faithful adaptation (maybe for slightly older audiences) I think he would have been phenomenal

Definitely I need to draw more. I miss it a lot. I don’t want to be one of those people that lets my dreams and hobbies die because of being busy with life and work. Steve wouldn’t do that! Not that he’s a role model, but, yanno.

I’ve officially entered my 30s and am appropriately picking up ridiculous new hobbies, evidentially.

So here’s part one of my new project- make Steve and Gannen Nendoroid-style dolls because I’ve lost control of my life and idk, seems cute and wholesome.

Even with nothing else, that face. That face is Steve. I am emboldened (sticker cause idk if genderless baby doll bodies are inappropriate but it seems kinda weird).

Anyway, I legit don’t know how this happened. I’ve got a couple Nendoroids of favs over the years, but I fell down some sort of rabbit hole and saw people modding to make customs and I thought, “Why not? Small, inexpensive, low stakes…”

I’ve always love miniatures. So really, this is more of an excuse to make miniature rooms and stuff. I guess we’ll see where it takes me though!

I plan to paint his face and make some hair for him with clay; not ANTICIPATING that being too huge a task, but I’ve not done doll modding before (I’ve done sculpture, so hopefully that helps?) so we’ll see. Gannen will be harder since I’ll have to figure out how to dye the whole thing purple.

I don’t think there’s anyone still here reading this but it’ll be cool to document what happens regardless 👹

I have a couple Nendoroids cause they’re so cute and I just discovered that there’s a custom Nendo community….um am I about to make a cute little Steve and Gannen and make a cute little dollhouse for them and get way too into another hobby???
