Honestly, media literacy is so dead these days that I think a lot of y'all WOULD be fooled by the rocks that she's got. Like I could absolutely see people refusing to believe that she's still Jenny from the block just because she used to have a little but now she has a lot, completely ignoring the fact that no matter where she goes, she knows where she came from (the Bronx). It's just sad.

really losing my patience for any 'feminist' statement to the tune of 'we need feminism because women fill a fundamentally different and necessary role than men and will be better at doing x y or z'. like actually i think we need feminism because it is an unbearable death of the spirit by inches to exist in a world where you are not seen as a fully realized human being because of a single cultural determination, and because a world that enshrines such things creates systems that are fundamentally sick to the core

theo asking buck at a 118 family dinner if ‘dad’ can read his bedtime story tonight because he does better voices. the mood gets a little somber and buck tries to save it by saying ‘hey, but you liked when i read you that story we picked out yesterday, right bud?’ and theo groans and is like ‘nooo, i like it when dad does it!’ and points at eddie. bc dad is what christopher calls him. buck proceeds to choke on his drink and only recovers after eddie thumps him on the back a handful of times (the madneyhenren group chat is on fire for the rest of the night)

eddie diaz deserves to have his face peppered in kisses every morning by one evan buckley and not as a precursor to sex or anything but just because buck loves him so much he can't help it, he's going to kiss eddie all over his stupidly beautiful face and eddie will laugh every time & his heart will be so full of love and affection for this ridiculous man & everything will be beautiful & nothing will hurt okay thanks for coming to my tedtalk

I think it would be great if we had a really domestic scene of Buddie and boys and Eddie is off work for whatever reason, Buck is running late, he gives a kiss on the head to Theo, and Chris, and gives one to Eddie, takes 2 steps away, pauses, audibly says "I'm not touching that before work" and continues to leave for work while Eddie sits there BRIGHT red with Chris laughing and Theo clueless
