Top surgery recovery has involved an onslaught of emotions that I'm still figuring out how to express, but this grief was not something I anticipated would be part of it.

today at work i got a ticket from an admin who somehow managed to delete all the users in his company's software instance, including himself, and literally erased everyone's logins. by mistake. he not only locked everyone out but wiped them all from existence. i don't even know how he did it. there are like 5 major checkpoints that will warn you and stop you before you get to that point. they shouldn't even be able to fully delete users like that.

i made him a new login and sent the information over to him. he can access it. great. case closed. right? no. 5 minutes later, he sends me another email.

"i can get in now, but where are all my users? 😨"

i dunno man, you started this ticket by sending them all into the ether. they are Gone. only you know what you did to them.
